Installed the valve in a 2005 Mercedes E-320 CDI. It never activates the compressor, also shows 0 volts (original varied between 7-14v). Size is also slightly larger than the OEM, so it was a pain getting it in (and out -- it actually split in half). There are various other differences to the OEM valve as well (such as holes in slightly different places, internal spring, end cap size, etc etc). Total junk.

Should have ordered the pigtail with this item. The compressor wound up being the actual problem but I’ll have a spare control valve. The new compressor replacement has the pigtail style so it won’t be an issue in the future if the control valve fails. Lots of confusion as to which style a 2008 VW Passat 2.0T is supposed to have. Depends on which country it was manufactured in...pulley size and electrical connections can be different. (CCTA vs. BPY) engine code.

Solenoid valve not working accurately.When the car slow down or stop at traffic lights, the aircond blows out air only.Not cold at all. Sometimes warm air.

Installed on 2008 ML350, perfect fit, but not easy to install at all.Why my rating is low, because my compressor Low pressure is way too high and didn’t work for meWhen the car slow down or stop at traffic lights, the aircond blows out air only.Not cold at all. Sometimes warm air.Update: after 3 weeks of installing it, today i noticed that the compressor is always on and clutch is engaged no matter of my internal control system if on or off

Ok so it shows to work in the vw compressors so I used on my 2009 Benz ml320. Fixed her right up. The install sucked but not do to product. Ice cold ac again and way cheaper than ac compressor.
