As advertised, it's a metal handle that feels solid. Only issue is that it's a bit too wide to fit into a 2007 Civic LX's center console lid. As a few other reviewers have had to do, sanding it down to fit is required.If I didn't have to sand it down, it would've gotten five stars for being a good fix.

This fit my friends 2009 Honda Civic well. I also had to replace the arm rest mechanism. This works well. Hopefully everything lasts

Mine does not stay latched. It is installed correctly but the tooth does not stay in the hole of the base

I bought the metal version but it was too wide. Had to pullout the dermal and remove some material from the center console to make it fit.Other than that issue it works perfectly.

I bought this for my 2010 honda civic lx coupe as my last ones clip broke , this came with everything needed and was easy to install.

Honda said I couldn’t fix just the handle on my center console that broke and said the entire top would need to be replaced. $506 is what the quoted me just for the PART. Luckily I looked it up online and bought this thing, easiest thing in the world to replace the handle just had to YouTube a quick video. Pretty durable and works perfectly. Happy as can be
