This is a very straight forward plug and play installation but there was either something defective with the provided wiring harness or the module because it shorted out my entire audio, navigation, backup camera and Bluetooth in my Audi S3. Had to take my car to the dealer to repair the damage as a result.The customer support is very ineffective mainly because there is only emailing back and forth and a 24 hour delay on any question. Simple not worth my time and not getting meaningful suggestions to trouble shoot.Sucks because I was really looking forward to having Carplay in my 2015 Audi.

This is my second unit. CarPlay disconnects and screen goes black randomly, no easy way to reconnect without turning car off. Using your phone is useless as there are bad echo’s and there is no resolution.

Bought this for my 2015 Audi A3 Premium Plus. The wireless CarPlay randomly disconnects and the screen goes black. It doesn’t happen every time I drive though. Overall it works and is a very nice touch, I just wish it performed better. I will likely switch to wired instead of wireless for CarPlay and see if that helps.

2016 Audi A3 Premium Nav 7” screenIt wasn’t clear in the listing, but the aux AMI cable is included with the kit. Install was fairly smooth, decided to use wireless CarPlay, ran the antenna cable just under the passenger side center console sail panel and the connection has been stable. Aux didn’t show up in the menu immediately, but eventually did. The boot to wireless CarPlay is fairly quick also. Instructions were clear. Also shout out to my dog Dobby for an extra hand or paw during the install.A great bonus is the EQ menu.

DONOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY... BOUGHT 2 CAR PLAYS AND BOTH WERE DEFECTIVE AND DID NOT WORK. HAD TO PAY MORE FOR INSTALLATION AND UN INSTALLLATION THAN THE PRODUCT ITSLEF... CONTACTED AMAZON FORMY MONEY OF PRODUCT AND INSTALLATION FEE AND THEY DIRECTED ME TO VENDOR BUY VENDOR IS NOT RESPONDING... 1ST ONE I RETRUNED BIUT THEY DIDNOT RETURN MY INSTALLTIONA ND UNINSTALLATION FEES (400.00) AND 2ND ONE I AM STILL WIATING FOR A REPLY AFTER 1 WEEK OF PURCHASE AND INSTALLTION ... AMAZOIN IS NOT HELOING AND VENDOR IS STILL NOT REPLYING..

This product works as advertised. Customer support was quick to reply to emails. My biggest issues was the install video did not cover my vehicle which required special tools to remove the stereo. The other complaint was the settings are not explained and there are multiple volume controls but I’m not sure what they both adjust and the customer service did not answer that question in the email.
