The Robelle Economy Winter Pool Cover features a 7 x 7 scrim. The polyethylene material used for this cover weighs 2.2 oz./yd2. The Robelle Economy Winter Pool Cover features a blue topside and a black underside. Please order by your pool size, as the overlap goes beyond the pool size listed. This cover includes a four-foot overlap. If you have a large top rail, please consider a larger pool size. This cover should be able to comfortably float on the pool water without excessive stress. This cover is not meant to be used as a debris cover during the swimming season. This winter pool cover is intended to be used during the off-season. This cover is meant for traditional above ground pools with a traditional top rail. Includes a winch and cable that should be used to secure your pool cover through the grommets around the perimeter of the pool cover. For extra securing, cover clips and cover wrap (both sold separately) are suggested for pool closing. No other method of installation is recommended.

This cover says it’s to winterize a pool but I use it to cover the pool daily so it has been working well it has a wire and wench to secure it around the pool so the only thing is the wench is very cheaply made and all I do is put the wire around the cover and into the wench but I don’t shut the wench there is a little turn thing that locks the wire into the wench and I just leave that open and it’s been working fine and the size is good I have a 12 ft round pool it also is waterproof and dries easily when taken off the pool after rain ect.

The cover seems as good as all the other covers I have purchased. I am concerned that this cover will not make it through the winter. The site says 3 ft overhang. I'm lucky if I have 1 foot overhang around my pool. I've closed it the same way every year and have always had a decent overhang. I also didn't realize the overhang was short until it was on the pool for the winter so much too late to return.

Every year, I purchase a new basic solid pool cover for my 18’ x 52” round above ground pool. This is my first year trying the Robelle brand one and it happened to be the cheapest one on Amazon at the time. This cover is fantastic! I love the extra 4 feet of overlap and did not realize how much of a difference it makes compared to previous solid covers I’ve used in the past. If you use a center pillow like I do, you definitely will appreciate the extra material.This winter has been brutal as far as rain and heavy winds. This cover has withstood gusts of wind over 45 mph SEVERAL times with only the cable and ratchet that it came with securing it. We do not use bunjee cords or any type of weight to hold the cover down and use a cover pump to pump water off when it gets heavy. Compared to other basic tarp-like covers, the quality of the material is so much better. It has been worth every penny. Make sure you have the cover sitting ON TOP OF THE WATER — do not try to make it tight all the way around. This is not a mesh cover and no water permeates through it and this can cause your pool walls to collapse. I drain an inch below the skimmer and it sits on top of the water perfectly even with the center pillow. You also want to buy a cheap cover pump to pump excess water off.Just buy this cover if you’re looking for a cheap cover that you only plan to use a season or two (although it could probably last much longer with proper storage…I just choose to replace with a new one every year). I will update this review in the spring and let y’all know how it stood up all winter. But I will be buying the Robelle brand solid covers forever. The other brands I’ve tried didn’t have the extra slack and the cover almost fell into the water several times. No issues at all with this one. BUY IT!!APRIL 2024 UPDATE!!This cover lasted ALL winter and was a breeze to take off when we opened the pool in the middle of March! Since we use a center pillow and keep water pumped off the cover, NOTHING got into the pool when the cover was removed (by only one person!)It kept my water crystal clear all winter and did not allow much chlorine to be consumed at all. Chlorine level was actually 9ppm at opening (I raise it to shock level at closing before putting the cover on)!!This cover is fantastic for the price. I went ahead and ordered a new one for after summer when it’s time to close this fall since it was on sale and I CHOOSE to buy a new cover every year, although this one could definitely last 3-4 seasons if taken care of any properly stored. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. 5 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I purchased this cover at the end of summer last year thinking it would be durable enough to withstand a new England winter. We were diligent about removing excess water accumulated from rain and snow melt, but you can't always remove it. I recently went to look at the cover and found many holes around the perimeter of our pool, one hole is almost to the point of letting the captured water in the pool itself.When I reached out about the warranty, thinking that it would be covered, I was told I could purchase a new cover at a discount.....If this was after 5 years of use and was the first time that this was an issue, I would have considered it, but it has one been 7 months. I will not be purchasing or recommending products from this brand/vendor.

Great product, just got it for the winter, fits great, will see how it fairs over the winter. I'm using it as a heating blanket for the summer, works great.
