As a recycled product, it may have slight color variations that do not affect the quality of the product or its performance. Its smooth top surface allows to mark chalk lines and to slide the planks into position, making it easy to install. It meets the perm ratings recommendation by the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) for staple and nail-down installations of solid and engineered wood floors.

Why oh why didn’t I read the reviews before I bought two rolls. I thought it was going to be 6mil thick. It’s just paper.

It is actually not 6 mil thick like the ad says it is .80 mil thick. Awesome. My fault that I didn't read reviews because I would've seen it was literally thick paper. Hopefully you don't make the mistake I made. So 1 star since you don't make it clear what it is. Yes I know deeper in you say paper and this is my fault but also false advertising.Looks like great paper though.. I guess

I installed oak solid hardwood flooring in my living room. This silicone moisture barrier was easy to use and worked great. It is thick and has a substantial feel and lays flat and will not interfere in installing solid oak floor and any flooring. The oak boards slide across it as I was aligning the boards for installation was a plus as well. Nice product will definitely use again in future.

I purchased a roll of this to use over the glue table in my workshop. I have silicone glue brushes and the glue doesn't stick to them so I figured it should work. It works great. I use mostly Gorilla Glue, and TiteBond. Neither stick to this. After the Gorilla Glue dries it just falls off. The TiteBond peals of easy enough. The paper is durable enough that, with a little caution, the clamps don't tear it up. I've glued up several things and have not changed the paper yet. I'm not sure one roll will last a lifetime, but It looks like it will last a good long time, and I will save countless hours cleaning up dried glue.

Really like this product. inexpensive, easy to work with and (should be) vapor permeable. Much more sturdy than rosin paper and doesn't stink or stain like tar paper. Would definitely recommend this.

I used it under 3/4" unfinished hickory. It lays out nice and flat without much curl. Great for racking; the white color is a nice backdrop to see your set up, the flooring slides on it easily without tearing - very little friction, so it makes light work of getting the end joints fitted tight. It's light, easy to use, nice and clean to work on top of and reasonably priced - I like it, i'd use it again!
