Missing an rca cable. Not enough speaker wire, even for my two door truck! Iād pay more for a complete kit. This one required me to make two trips to the auto parts store to over pay for low quality speaker wire and a third RCA cable

Well, to begin, its RF and its going to be quality. The cable is very large, be mindful you can hide it under the carpet to protect it. It comes with a 300 amp fuse and is 0 gauge copper wire; very flexible, and a good cover (standard red and black). It has all the necessary dividers for power as well, and all the lugs for adding a huge amp or whatever you want to power. Its a complete set up with 3 sets of good RCA's and goodies inside the pack, like zip ties and plugs for cable routing through the firewall.

Like most everything with the Rockford Fosgate name on it, their RFK4D 2-amp wiring kit features quality materials and construction and great performance. But it's not without its negatives.I don't know if Rockford Fosgate actually manufactures these components or just contracts it out and has their name printed on, but the quality of the wires is excellent and the hardware is pretty good. The power and ground cables feature numerous copper strands, a sign of good quality and performance. The jackets are heavy yet fairly pliable, so they can be snaked around easily. The speaker wire features two-color jackets that makes identification of + and - easy. The feature of tinned and non-tinned copper wires in the pair is frankly pointless, but looks good. The patch cables seem a little light, but fit tightly. The fuse holder is a quality piece. It looks like a standard AGU holder but houses a maxi fuse (included). This means there is an opening in the side of the holder to mount the fuse, leaving it exposed to elements. This could be a point of concern, but I have it positioned to reduce this exposure.I find the use of non-fused distribution blocks curious, especially with 100 amps passing through the wire. (I don't need 100A, so I put in a 30A fuse.) Regardless, RF should have included either fused blocks or inline holders for the two amps. The quality of the blocks is good though. The RCA patch cables are twisted pair, which is common in mid- to high-end cabling. The ring terminated power and ground (4 gauge only) is nice and saves a little time. Even though the included 100A maxi fuse is nice (they're not that cheap alone), I believe it might have been better to leave it out so the user can determine the appropriate amp load for their system.Probably the weirdest thing about this kit is how long the turn on lead is. It seems like the power cable should be the longest wire, but I probably had 6 feet of extra lead and less than 2 feet of extra 4 gauge. Not a problem, just an interesting feature. The RFK4D is a great package for installing 2 amplifiers. The kit contains quality materials that should provide years of reliable connections. The omission of fuse holders for the 8-gauge wires and the unsealed main fuse holder remain the kit's only real faults.

I've ordered 3 of these kits. Just the best way to do installs. The quality is simply top-notch. I'll admit that the fuse holder is a little awkward at first, but DO NOT believe the reviewers who claim the 100 amp blade fuse is missing- it's in every package, plain as day. And yes, there should be more speaker wire included, but still, 5 stars for quality and ease of use. Great price on Amazon too!

In my original system I had a scosche amp install kit (did it in high school 8 years ago) and it worked just fine for those 8 years, but after getting a kit like this, its really stupid to cheap out. My car is small (2005 hyundai accent) so all cables were more than enough length wise, and I had more than enough speaker and ground power cable to play with.Went in very easy, took a minute to figure out the fuse holder, because it either didn't come with instructions, or I lost them instantly in my whirlwind of audio equipment, but you just have to pop off the top of the rubber tab and get to the little hex keyed holes.Very well built, and worth the money

After scouring the internet for a decent dual amp 4 gauge wiring kit I stumbbled upon this kit. I decided that for the price I couldnt really go wrong. When i got the kit it far execed my expectations, this kit comes with absolutelly everything you need to wire up 2 mono block or 2 2 channel amps, the wire is ACTUALLY 4 gauge and not some rip off 8 gauge covered in a huge sheild, this kit is awesome and i would strongly reccomend it to anyone looking for good quality dual amp kit.

This is the dual amp install kit, and it's the same price as the single install kit, so I bought it even though I only installed one amp - it didn't make sense not to! As others have mentioned, these are the correct size ratings (unlike some kits where 4 gauge really means 8 gauge), and the wires are real high quality as well. I wish they'd give a bit more than 3-feet of 4 gauge ground wire, but I was still able to work with it. Otherwise, I have plenty of extra, high-quality wire for future use. Very happy with this purchase.
