Install was a breeze. My aftermarket amp hooked right up. Sounds so much better over the original harmon kardon which was starting to fail. No more lugging around cd's.I would have thought that for 600.00 this radio would have AVC(automatic volume control). Not sure why rockford doesn't have this feature.

08 flh, went from factory to a water av brand and that one lasted for 5 years. This one has a factory fit, went in as easy as it gets. Works flawlessly with the controls

I have installed this in my street glide and the Bluetooth works well. I haven't tried many of the other features as it was mainly purchased to be a source for the speakers and amps

Easy to install hookups for handlebar control on my 2012 Road Glide. Sounds great and the value for the money is worth it. Love the bluetooth connection, no more cord. Thank You Rockford Fosgate...

OK for most of us with the earlier batwing touring HD bikes . Sooner or later your going to run into the problem of your speakers cutting out or one day you turn on your radio an nothing. You can hear the radio through your headphones n headset. Problem.. There is a chip in there that sooner or later blows.. as for myself I took the radio out and apart and replaced the chip. In which is a pain for those of that have done it. You can send it out to be repaired at a cost. After doing mine and friends a few times . I just got fed up with it. Pulled the trigger on this one.Pros. It pretty much plug n play and you still can keep your handlebars controls.You have the option to customize your controls to your liking.This thing is loud.. stock with no amp if your not running power hungry speakers.It's easy to see in the day or night by a push of a buttonUSB compatibility. Great for charging you phone or whateverUSB MP3. Basically a dream come true . On a 32 gig stick recommend you can load hours n hours of your music. No more carrying a load of CDs in your bags n switching them in and out Play music through your phone or other compatibility devices.Many options to choose from in the radio settings. Especially for those who seek that certain sound.Excellent customer service. You have a question call them . They will walk you through the process if you need help. I was using a other company made 400 watt amp and I haven't hooked it up yet. Plan to go with the rockford fosgate one instead and a set of their speakers.Radio is well made and not as heavy as the stock with CB intercom Sirius add onsCONSI really can't find any once your are familiar with the settings everything is a breezeSome claim they miss the automatic volume control. I don't a flick of the thumb n louder or softer it isI don't miss the CB ..you can get a mini one for cheap now daysIntercom..was more of a pain with cables getting in the way or plugging n unplugging. Blue tooth or wireless headsets are reasonably priced today and are more comfortable and convenient.In all I am very pleased with this radio it suits and gose beyond my needs . The only regret I have is I should have purchased it sooner. Many lost hours of riding without music because that stock radio chip went . As far as I'm concerned money well spent versus the time and effort of pulling and repairs to the stock unit

Installed this device today. It actually "WAS" a plug and play and perfect application for my 20q1 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic.It will be so nice when I can listen to music via Bluetooth instead of cords everywhere!!!!!

Very happy with this stereo, installed the Fosgate on my 2013 Harley Ultra. makes a big difference from factory deck, really good sound, I see why they say the Harley factory stereo is no good. This makes a big difference. It's pricey but worth it and it truly is plug and play.

This is a great plug and play upgrade for my 2013 Harley Street Glide. Installing the Rockford Fosgate PMX-HD9813 was very easy. I also installed the Rockford Fosgate PAUX Punch Universal Auxiliary Input Port so I can charge my phone and have the hard wire connection to the radio if I don't want to use the Blutooth feature. It was equally as easy to install. Besides using the included instructions, I did review a Youtube video from Rockford Fosgate first and that helped. I really like the display, the Blutooth feature, and the controls on the radio itself. Everything looks great and very clear as opposed to some of the other Marine type replacements. And the Handlebar controls from the bike work great also. I still only have the stock speakers and was able to tune those in using the custom equalizer feature on the radio. In the future I'll be adding an amp and after market speakers to optimize the sound. But very happy with the everything right now. Even with stock speakers and no amp, the sound is better.

I purchased this radio with the idea of replacing the factory one on my 2008 Ultra Classic. I liked the idea of it being a direct replacement/plug and play unit for the factory installed radio, so after plenty of research, I thought I'd give it a try. It took me a little while to justify spending this much money on a receiver, but I had actually purchased another radio before this one, that claimed to be a true plug and play unit. I quickly realized you still had to splice some of the wires in the 35 pin wire bundle if you were wanting to use your rear speakers.... So when I received this one, I made sure it had the rear connection 23 pin connector, and the second 35 pin connector needed for the ultra classic rear speakers and controls.After receiving and installing this Rockford Fosgate receiver, I can say this is truly a direct replacement / plug and play unit. THANK YOU. 😊 it was an easy install, and everything matched up perfectly. I'm using it in line with an older amp, and it sounds incredible! It has all the newest features, including bluetooth, clock, display dimmer, and everything else you would expect from a Rockford Fosgate unit.... And of course it rocks loud and clear.I hope to enjoy it for may years to come. Sorry the picture isn't the best, but I was in a hurry.
