Do it Right!
When installing any lift/leveling kit on leaf springs, you may find that your stock u-bolts may not be long enough to be compatible with your new setup. Even if you are able to get the nut on, you may not be able to get enough thread engagement for the assembly to be considered "safe." That's where Rocktrix extended u-bolts come in. Made to work with any lift kit between 1.0" to 3.0", our u-bolts will ensure that your ride is safe and reliable for whatever journey on which you want to go.

I recently bought a 99 Suburban for my son as a first vehicle, now that he has his license. The old leaf spring u-bolts were on their last leg. At some points, they were thinner than a pencil So, off to Amazon we went looking for new ones.We ended up going with these ubolts, because they came in a set of 4, and looked nice. We weren't adding a lift kit or anything, but in searching for u-bolts, found that we could get these long ones for cheaper than shorter ones. As these were the greater value, in the cart they went.They arrived quickly, and installation was a breeze! If you are doing this yourself, watch several videos before hand. Once we had the truck jacked up in the right spots, the old ones snapped off (they were very rusted), and the new ones went right on. Be sure to retighten them after driving a little bit on them.In the end, the extra length isn't a problem.

I chewed up the threads on the bolts that came in my lift(raised the rear 3 inches on a 2015 silverado 1500) a few months after install and needed more. These fit perfectly and quality seems good for the price.
