Rocky Mountain Goods Downspout Splash Block ReviewThis item does not even weigh one pound. Unless nailed to the ground it could be easily picked up by a strong wind and blown away. If low cost is your main objective, by all means, buy this splash block. If durability is more important then there is a brand that weighs SIX POUNDS for just $6 more.This is another super-cheapo piece of junk from China.

This does exactly what we need it to do, and diverts water from the downspout out further into the yard rather than directly onto the foundation. This style of diverter is easier for cutting grass &/or weed eating as we can just pick it up and replace it when we’re done, where the previous style we had of a corrugated plastic tube ended up crushed in the snow or damaged by the weed eater no matter how carefully we tried to cut around it
