The steel wire wool rolls are of good length. Though a bit thin, bunched together to prevent a direct path, it works well. The included gloves prevent the sticky insulation from getting on your hands and prevents wire splinters. The scissors make cutting the steel wire easier than trying to tear it. The wire wool is not soft.

If you're one of those people who prefers to get everything needed for a task in one package, and you're trying to keep rodents out, this is for you. The steel wool rolls that come in the box are more practical for barriers use than the steel wool you can get at the big box stores. That's because you'll want to push the steel wool into smaller openings and the rolls are thinner than pads, which are designed for sanding. The scissors that come in the box are a bit awkward due to their small finger holes. But they cut the steel wool very well. And it's nice to have a dedicated pair of scissors for the task because cutting steel wool is going to dull any pair of scissors after a short time using them. The gloves are also not high quality, but they will keep your fingers protected while doing the job. Any pair of gloves you use could easily be ruined by the foam, so it's good to have a pair of stretchy throw-aways available. One thing you should know about using foam: if you don't use the entire can at once, you can't store it. The foam that so effectively fills the gaps also effectively closes up the foam can's straw. So, plan on getting everything you need to do done in one fell swoop.I'd call this rodent-barrier kit a very decent value, and quite convenient. It's not that any single component is particularly high quality but together, they'll help you get this one-shot job done.

Great value and bang for buck! Inside the package are 3 rolls of steel wool, a spray can of the foaming hole filler as well as gloves and a pair of scissors. I have had some rodent issues lately, and I have everything under control now, however, I am keeping this kit for future use.

The steel wool seems pretty standard. Should help with the small gaps. I also like that the kit comes with gloves for safer application. The spray foam is a bit odd. It is re-labeled from a different brand (there is very obvious sticker placed over the other brand's info). I'm sure it's just a relabel thing, but it does remove some trust from the reliability of the contents. I haven't use it yet - I'll probably stick with just using the steel wool and dispose of the foam.

I really like this kit - especially that it has everything you need in it! Previously I have used this method to block out rodents, it works well but I had to collect all of the pieces that come in this kit separately. This provides everything, all in one, and is nicely packaged with a description on the box - something I appreciate after so many things just come in generic brown shipping boxes.I would recommend this to anyone looking to for such a kit!

This combo kit is actually a smart approach to rodent control. Standard spray foam by itself won’t stop determined mice (ask me how I know), but pairing it with steel wool? Now you’re talking. The foam expands nicely into cracks and gaps, while the steel wool adds the chew-proof element mice absolutely hate. The steel wool is thick and easy to shape—no flaky mess like the cheap stuff. You can stuff it into weird angles and odd-shaped holes, and it stays put. Just be prepared for the foam part: it does work, but the result isn’t exactly home décor. It dries fast and seals tight, but it’s not pretty. So either apply it somewhere hidden (like behind appliances or along the garage wall), or plan to cover it up if it’s in plain view. One heads-up: in my experience, once you crack open a can of spray foam, you’re on a one-way ride. You might only get one good use out of it, so plan ahead. Find every gap and hole first, then go on a fast and furious filling spree. You’ll get the best results that way.All in all, it’s not glamorous, but it’s effective—and that’s what matters when you’re trying to convince uninvited furry guests to stay outside where they belong.

I recently used this Steel Wool PU Spray Foam Hole Filler to seal some holes in my wall, and I have to say, it’s been a fantastic product! The foam expands nicely, filling even the smallest gaps, and the addition of steel wool really strengthens the filler, preventing any future settling or movement. It’s super easy to apply—just spray and let it foam up! The consistency is perfect, and once it dries, it forms a strong, durable seal that I can trust. I’ve used other foam fillers in the past, but this one is by far the best for both quick application and lasting performance. What I like most is that it’s versatile. I used it on both small cracks in drywall and a few larger holes in wooden trim, and it worked great on both. Once it’s cured, it’s easy to sand and paint over, leaving a smooth finish.Overall, I’m really happy with how this product performed. If you're looking for an efficient and strong way to fill holes or gaps, I highly recommend giving this a try!

The can of foam does not feel very full, and the foam can be pricey so overall you pay a lot for some steel wool. It is really nice steel wool, You also get a decent pair of gloves and a a small pair of scissors.
