About this item

  • West System 800 Roller Covers are thin polyurethane foam covers and are the only roller covers recommended for applying epoxy.
  • The thin foam allows you to control epoxy film thickness, avoid drips and runs, and get a smoother epoxy coating overall.
  • The 7″ covers can be cut for smaller jobs, narrow strips, and tight areas. By cutting these into segments you can make an ideal tipping brush.

I used this with Total Boat Traditional Epoxy (5:1) with slow hardener. What caused this? The epoxy has not yet 'gone off', yet the foam pulled away from the roll. Disappointed.

I used these when I was repairing the transom on my 14 ft boat. They worked great for rolling out the expoy when I was laying down the fibreglass.

These covers are excellent! I am in the process of building a stitch and glue boat and need a quality cover that will even out epoxy without leaving a ton of bubbles. These meet that need very well.

Best rollers I have found for application of the West System epoxies, won't waste money on anything else now. Worth getting a few extra, as their recommendation for splitting a roller lengthwise into several pieces for wiping a surface to remove bubbles works well.
