I discovered this product while searching for a remedy for difficult-to-open tiny paint pots, normally associated with paint-by-number kits. I order empty ones in bulk here on Amazon for small mixes of acrylic paint while painting canvases. These are the tiny plastic pots with the hinged snap-open tops with finger tabs that are a nightmare to open with your fingers. If reviews here are any indication, there's a lot of cussin' about them.THIS is the key, literally, to opening those little buggers. I saw a review on YouTube by an artist who had my experience and recommended these.I put a small nail in my easel and hang one from it with its keychain, ready to grab.Tip: Use the large opening on the ends of this opener, and position it so that the sides are over one and under the other of the two finger tabs, then twist. Pops right open.

This makes filling my small oil bottles so much easier. Getting those caps off are hard without this sturdy tool. The nice thing is I have enough to have in several places and have shared, too.

I originally had a plastic tool to use on the bottles and very quickly it started to fail. Found these and am glad I did. I can easily remove the roller ball, and drip spout. Getting 5 tools for a great price, I doubt if I will ever use the other 4 because these are so well made. Highly recommended.

Why 5? I really only needed 2. One to use, and one fora back-up. I use it to open the paint pots used in paint by number. It’s great for that purpose.

These little tools come handy when you need to remove a dropper from an essential oils bottle. If you do not know, dropper is that small plastic insert with an orifice (little hole) which enables you to dispense essential oils drop by drop. Sure, you can use any sharp object, like scissors, but it works better with a tool. Usually, you do not remove the dropper from the bottle, except special circumstances. The most common case requiring a tool is when there is very little oil left in the bottle and you want to get it out with a pipette, or when thick oil does not drip well, which is another reason for a pipette use. Not a must have, but it is convenient to have, and a set of 5 makes sure that there is always one of them available at hand. They are sort of easy to misplace... so extra ones are useful.

Perfect size choices for variety of bottles, far superior to plastic tool. Nice color choices for sale at oil events.
