High quality - straight forward install. Stylish compared to competitors - matches OEM roof rack looks except blacked out bars.

Not sure why some reviewers say that it is difficult to install? Not my experience. Took 20 min. Loosen the installation nuts all the way and don’t tighten the rails all the way until the last step. Seems like they are durable. First impression is very positive. Only negative was that one of the Allen screws came stripped. Had to replace it and was a little difficult to thread it in. Someone at the factory clearly wasn’t careful installing that screw. Would recommend based on initial impressions.

Fit well, enhances the appearance of the vehicle. I had some of the other X-5 owners want to buy them from me.

Just installed these the other day on my 2024 X3 M40i. I’ve got the extended shadowline package on my vehicle so these rails look good considering that they are totally and completely black. Install was easy, just a lot of annoying bolt loosening and re-tightening… did the job solo, took me about 45 minutes. And….. Did a test run today at about 60 to 65 mph…. I did not hear any of the annoying, high-pitched whistling! A big plus right there!!The BMW brand roof rails are $400+, You can probably score the OEM BMW rails for around $250-300. But those rails are black and silver! I don’t think it looks too good with the extended shadowline package. I really wanted to find some rails that really looked stealthy, and no whistling…..these rails are hitting all the marks thus far!Have yet to put a cargo box up top yet, but we will see what happens come ski season!

First off, I will say, the quality of the product is very good. However, there are TWELVE bolts on EACH bar that must be loosened then re tightened after install. Not only that, but it is quite difficult to get the bar to drop down into place. So, if you plan on taking your cross bars on and off often, this is not what you want. But, if you plan on keeping them on, or will only rarely use them, they are very sturdy and of good quality for the price.

The racks look and feel steady. Took me about 20 minutes to install. I read the instructions, aligned everything on the floor, and placed on top of the car. I took time to gradually tighten all the nuts according to the instructions. I do have two suggestions for the manufacturer: 1- It will be tremendously helpful to provide torque values for the nuts; 2 - The front rack could be 1/2 inch longer as it reached its limit. Overall, it’s well built and much cheaper than the OEM ones from the dealer.

The product didn’t fit my car. The instructions were so badly faded. It appeared that there was no ink in the printer or the. But the worst was I have a brand new hundred thousand dollar car that now has a big scratch because the clamps scratched the car.Should’ve brought a reputable brand.

I like this one over the factory made, since it matches nicely with black shadow trim.** INSTRUCTIONS - could definitely be better and was a bit problematic. Also, a couple of spare screws for connecting the bars to the support would be handy, since during installation they kept falling off. I was able to install it myself, but was a bit frustrated.
