I liked everything about this product. They were easy to install, they are rated for three hundred pounds, they fit perfectly.

Took less than 5 mins to install. Installed it a few days before needing to use it. On the way home from work I heard a rattling sound on the roof of my vehicle only to discover once getting home that two screws came undone from the bars at the part that holds the ends on. One on the front and one on the back. Easy enough to find replacements at Lowes. Recommend before installing tightening down the screws. Other negative was it scratched easily after loading and unloading a plastic kayak. Just my observations, over all would recommend. Remember tighten down the screws before putting on vehicle!

These were a fair price , fit good . Took longer to install than I expected. So far happy just haven't had a chance to use them.

Instructions were a little vague. All parts were god quality. Can’t believe Ford didn’t provide them as standard equipment.

These crossbars fit great with the provided hardware. They are very secure and installed in minutes. I mounted a roof basket on them and the bars look and function great with it on them.

I use a Yakima SkyBox 16. This roof rack is very close to the roof of the 2017 Explorer XLT. This makes it look great, but the feet of the Sky Box have very little clearance to slide under the bars. It is very easy to scratch the roof of your car if you're not careful. After the box's installation, there is only a quarter inch of clearance from the feet to the roof. Driving down the road the feet will hit the roof. Clearance is not any issue for anything that uses a U-Bolt, or any slim attachments. Anything with large feet may cause issues. The product is made well, and the plastic ends gave me no concern for durability. If you're looking for some low-profile OEM style racks and your attachments don't have large feet, these will work just fine.

The title pretty much says it all the clip that retracts the boat that allows you to adjust where the roof rack fits on the roof is made of very cheap plastic and broke when it was lifted up. Living in Florida when exposed to the heat this would’ve happened overtime anyway, in addition, there was hardly any room for my hands to fit in to secure my cargo on top so I’m getting different cross bars which extend beyond the terrain roof rack.
