The eye-to-eye tail also allows use of several hitches that are easily learned and extremely smooth performing. By utilizing both ends of this type of split tail, friction is more evenly distributed, resulting in more consistent friction through a knot that is less binding, yet grabs quite firmly. The system is enhanced significantly when incorporating a micro pulley that fair-leads the hitch for one handed slack tending.

This is advertised as an 8mm hitch rope. The rope that was sent is a 10mm hitch rope. It's a nice rope, but there's a point where the thicker hitch rope makes it harder to actually tie the hitch and use it, depending on the size of the climbing rope. I'm not sure if the thicker rope helps or hurts with the actual grab on the climbing rope. Either way, my gripe is sending something different than was advertised. The package has stickers showing both 8mm that I thought I was buying, and 10 mm which is what's actually in the package.

Product is not as described. This is a 30 inch prusik. Not a Bee though. Seems to work well. I guess we will see how well it lasts. I’m just concerned it’s not climbing quality or safety rated.
