Replaced the OEM transmission wiring harness on my 2004 Silverado 1500 with this one. This harness is sturdy and good build quality. Everything snapped in just right to the old 4l60e transmission. Wires were a little stiff, to be expected, but don’t be afraid to bend them to get them where they need to go. They will not break . Take care of the plastic clips putting them in , and they will take care of you by never breaking . ALSO , you may need to move around/ compress the plastic sheath right by the harness connector to properly plug into the EPC Solenoid .

I purchased this item to replace the genuin OEM part from the factory in a 4L60E transmission. After the installation, the wiring harness threw several transmission codes that did not exist prior to pulling the transmisison pan and installing the Rostra wiring harness. Since the return date had elapsed, I attempted to contact Rostra direct through the Amazon website with a message to return the defective part. I have not received direct correpondence from Rostra regarding a disposition of the defective part. A lost cause!

Turns out this wasn't my problem, but it was a direct replacement and is certainly less brittle and hardened than my old harness.If you're trying to fix three solenoid codes that all went bad at the same time, before you drop your pan, check and clean your IGN 0 fuse and pull your ignition switch and clean it with some DEOXIT or replace it. That's what ultimately solved my transmission codes after swapping all solenoids to no avail.

If anyone is looking for a internal harness for a 4l60e this harness is the best you can get besides a factory replacement!

Worked well. The picture is everything I changed out (including the Sonnax valve body) in a bag including the wiring harness. I'm amazed at something that is continuously doused in fluid can become brittle. Was great when I was changing out the valve body of the 4L60E transmission to put this one in not having to worry about breaking a clip or wire removing and reinstalling while my main work truck is up in the air.Ordered the Shift Rite Transmission Sonnax rebuilt valvebody along with this and some springs rebuilding the bottom side of the xmsn. Worked wellThe only bad thing is o-ring is not the new c-channel style that comes in most rebuild kits, just a standard o-ring but it is working.
