This fits in my Cricut Maker and works as it should. Comes with the housing too, so no need to purchase anything extra.

This rotary cutter works with my Cricut Maker 3 just fine. We are still learning all of the features on this machine but this is a great additional cutter for us. This will make creating fabric appliques much easier than cutting out by hand. Would recommend! (We tested this with the brand name pink mat for fabric.)

I'm reviewing "Rotary Blade and Drive Housing Compatible with Maker/Maker 3, Ideal Accessories for Cardstock, Foil Poster, Kraft Board, Fabric, Quilting Squares, Sewing Projects, and Custom Cards" which I received via the VINE program.I do a lot of sewing as well as crafting and have a Cricut Maker 3. I have several quick swap housings and many of the tips/tools that will fit, but as of yet did not have the rotary cutter. I have the bonded fabric blade but not the rotary, so I was very happy to see this item show up.I immediately put some quilting cotton, a very basic fat quarter on my fabric mat and decided that my boy puppies needed matching bow ties for their collars. The blade cut really well on my fabric mat. It's not a super high quality fat quarter I tested the blade with so I knew it would leave some strings when cut.I did a larger bow tie and a smaller one. The pattern was simple rectangles but it cut both very well, I was able to peel the fabric off the mat without any difficulty.I feel the need to clarify something that another reviewer mentions, calibrating. The rotary blade does not require any calibration when selecting fabric/cotton as the material. I can only assume that the reviewer did not have success with this blade because of choosing the wrong material and possibly cut settings. This blade does indeed work perfectly with my Maker 3, when using the correct mat, correct material settings and choosing an appropriate project.…A few minutes later…So I decided that I needed to test more shapes, I threw some basic shapes that were not rectangles onto my Design Space and that's where it all went wrong.I keep getting Critical error when trying to cut a few very basic shapes, oval, a circle, and a heart. It fails and I I get the red power button blinking and it just stops cutting.…The next day…I have a love/hate relationship with Cricut. I was able to cut a basic triangle and it worked fine. This blade works fine, however, Cricut has issues at times with blades/blade housings that are not Cricut branded so, if you're fine having the occasional moments of frustration, then go for it. The blade works great and I honestly can't see any difference in this off-brand blade and a Cricut one.

I used this rotary blade with my Cricut Maker 3, and I found it to be very easy to use. I chose the fabric grip mat since I was using the rotary blade and increased the pressure to ensure the cuts were more visible. Overall, the rotary blade worked well and performed as expected.

I have the maker 3, and wanted to cut some felt strips for a DIY Christmas activity. This blade did the trick. It cut the felt beautifully. Just make sure that you are using the correct setting on your cricut as well as the correctmat.

One of the reasons I got my new Cricut Maker 3 was to use it to cut fabric. Appliqués especially. This is a perfect addition to my blade collection. Fits perfectly and is a great price.

I bought this because it notes that it's compatible with the Cricut Maker and Maker 3. I have the Maker 3 and ended up returning this blade because my machine wouldn't calibrate the blade, so it was unusable. I can't speak to whether or not it would work with the Cricut Maker.
