Not exactly everything I wanted but it's okay for now. The blades are sharp but it's a bit clumsy, if that makes sense. I wanted something sturdier and stronger...something cleaner in terms of slicing. I'm not sure I'll keep it but I will keep using it to see if my mind changes at all.

This is OK. I've used it for both cheese grating and carrots for coleslaw. The blades are nice and sharp. Blade changing is pretty easy, but I would caution that they don't necessarily slip into place as well as I would have liked. You need to be careful and not change blades with wet, slippery hands. It would be easy to get cut. I really like how the base sticks securely to the counter top with a flip of the lever. It's very solid. The handle is easy to attach. There a nice variety of blades and it has a nice container for unused blades, though I wish it held all the blades. You have to keep one set attached. Also, not being dish washer safe is not great. I would rather be able to clean and sterilize in the dishwasher.My overall impression is OK, but not great quality. Construction is just OK as well. It does the job OK, but I am worried about durability. I want my kitchen items to be solid and have a long life. I don't think this will hold up well to heavy use.

I wanted this to be better.I've used it twice, making salads.The first time, I sliced all my veggies lengthwise for small pieces. The results were less than desired. The second time, I didn't slice anything. Mini-bell peppers, mini-cukes, carrots.The issue is twofold: The chute is too stout, so something as small as a mini-bell pepper (3") sticks up too high and you have to push with your hand and not the plunger. Also, the space between the frame and the rotating cutting blades is too big. veggies get pulled in and you wind up with lengthwise cuts.I think big items like a piece of semi-hard cheese or a potato would work great. But smaller items get pulled into the side and get shaved until they fit around the bladed-wheel.The veggies did stain the heck out of the plastic, and as per the directions, a drop of cooking oil took care of it (soap and water wasn't sufficient). The instructions say no dishwasher, and that's a bummber. Not that it's hard to clean, but because it's safer than trying to wipe off the sharp blades.The blade case that holds the sets of blades is handy, but there's nothing holding them in place. Tip it a little and they fall out.The suction-cup is amazing. Holds the unit in place. But the hand-crank is a bit oversized. I found I needed to move things further from the unit because of the distance of the turn.Also, the exit chute is very stout. If you're cutting a lot, they start flopping out, but cutting veggies (5 mini bell peppers at once, 1 mini cuke, 2 carrots), they sort of sit in the chute until there's enough to avalanche. Nothing falls out, which is a little annoying. Every time I had to reach into the unit to pull the cut veggies out.

I was really disappo in my shredder. There was no instructions on the blades and no instructions on the buttons on it and I thought it was big enough to put a bowl under a big bowl but it wasn’t. It worked OK but I’m really disappointed in it. I won’t recommend this to anybody.

We haven't worked our way through all the blades but so far this works well, grates quickly and is easy to clean

I like this grater because it is easy to use. I want to switch to eating blocks of cheese because supposedly it is healthier. I usually cut them, but eating shredded cheese with other meals, this helps. I also like the different attachments so I can cut veggies and such for my family and pets.

The description says this grater is for cheese and to slice vegetables.I tried it out last night to slice my bell peppers. It does not work well with them as the grater pulls the bell with it and ends up squeezing the juice out of it while crushing the pepper. I will have to admit I may have used the wrong grater blade but there wasn't a manual that explained it and the image on the description page was not very helpful as the photos in the image leaves some guess work. However, I believe no matter what blade I used the flat part of the blade holder would have still squeezed the pepper as it moved the pepper down and not grinding it at the top.I am sure it will do fine with hard vegetables like carrots, radishes, uncooked potatoes, and other hard vegetables.
