Not milspec as implied by the wording on their site. It's super warm which is why I rated it as high as I did. But it is not a milspec gator.

I use it as a neck gaiter and sometimes pull it up over my ears. It works great, it's low profile, and fits my big dome.

Bought this because it said it came with a fleece liner. As you can see by my picture there is a lack of fleece with the product I received.

Warmly protects the neck from collar to chin. It could be made of softer material, but it does not irritate the skin. Stretchability enables using it as a cap. No real complaints for the low price. Recommended.

Okay, it fit really tight the first few times. But it adjusted and I love it. Made waking the dog during the winter bearable. Kept my face and neck warm, isn't bulky, and when closed in between layers it kept my head warm and prevented hear from glowing out from the neck area.Walled the dog at single digits temps with wind chill below zero for fifteen minutes without feeling cold.Use with something to cover the rest of your head and you'll love it too.
