I purchased these for work, so I could have a solid boot with a little bit of cooling. I was a bit worried due to the price, but these seem to be good quality. I do recommend a good pair of insoles, to increase the comfort a little. I would also recommend different laces, as the laces are the loose string inside of tubing kind, and the outer tubing tends to bunch up when tightening the boots. I would get a set of solid type laces. Other than that, very happy with the purchase and I expect them to last a long time.

You guys are mad over comfort and stuff, buy the real ones for $150 and have even worse comfort, these boots were not made for comfort.

Boots are great. Don't have a problem with fit, appearance or workmanship. Only issue is with the smell. I could not keep these boots in the house for almost a month. They had a foul oil/fuel smell... Strange. Other than that they are great.

really great shoes i've worn them on fire rescue for 16 months in harsh conditions and they are so comfortable and going strong!!!
