I bought this for my "Cold Steel" 18" machete, fits great! I had one of these cases years ago for a military style machete and I loved it! It would help a lot to get the military style "ALICE" belt to attach to this case so you can wear it.

This is a nice sheath for a machete. Way better than a canvas one. My only complaint is that where the belt hardware is the bolt top rubs on the blade when insert and taking the machete out. If you have a black blade it will scratch it. If you have a metal blade it’s metal rubbing on metal. It may not be a big deal to some people but it is to me. I’m a huge Rothco fan. I’ve had a lot of their stuff over the years. They are good value for the quality. This meets all those parameters it’s just a simple design flaw. I put a small piece of Kevlar tape over the bolt head so the metal wasn’t rubbing. You could also just take the belt clip off if you don’t plan to wear it.

This is THE sheath for your 18” machete. Fits my old military issue machete that I originally bought at an army navy store about 18 or so years ago. I have been looking for a nice sheath that isn’t too bulky and waterproof. The sheath is as slim and low profile as can be, nice little loop on the top that works as a dangler carry option. I bought the coyote brown and I would pretty much call it an olive drab color with a hint of brown. Very happy with the color, not too brown like some “coyote browns” out there. The material is a flexible impact resistant plastic that has many drainage holes through. Very nice upgrade and inexpensive purchase. Would recommend without hesitation to someone looking for a sheath like this.

Excellent machete sheath, made of firm yet flexible plastic. Much better than my old cloth sheath. The attachment is standard military wire for web belts, so NO belt loops for attaching to waist or pack. The attached blade sharpener is a good idea but looks a little cheap. The sheath holds my Ontario Knife Co. USMC, issue blade firmly as to not fall out unless pulled out. Thanks to Pro-Motion Distributing for quick shipping & offering this hard to find made in China product at a great price.

I love the fact that this sheath swivels out of the way when I kneel or sit. I've been using it with a Gerber Sawback, which isn't a perfect fit because the Gerbers handle is so different from a GI machete, but I've had no problems with this set-up.

Timely delivery, the product is as advertised and the price is OK.I needed a sheath for an OKC 18" machete, however a $65.00,made to order, Kydex special is currently out of my price range. This sheath is 18" x 3" x 1/2" molded plastic, each side is 1/8"thick, blade space is 1/4", there are 13 drain holes on each sideand a 1/2" drain slot on the tip end.The sharpener is cut into the retaining clip and I have Molle/Aliceadapters for the pistol belt attachment. The p/b attachment stud WILL scrape on the blade, deep into thefinish, so be forewarned.I'm kicking around a few ideas like filing down the stud, coveringwith tape, etc, etc.Five stars only because I knew exactly what I was getting.Your mileage may vary.

This is a fairly sturdy sheath made of a rubberized, flexible plastic. Plenty of holes for drainange. It is NOT coyote. It is OD Green. No problem with me, but be advised. I like it. Plan on a few simple mods to include a basic fire kit, water tabs and sharpening stone. Dave Canterbury has some good ideas on Youtube. I like it and recommend it.
