I ordered an X-LARGE for a 9 year old. Thank goodness I did. It is sized very small. He wears a 10-12 normally. He is 55 inches tall and 90 pounds. Keep that in mind when you order yours. Seems to be well made however. He’s doing a presentation on Charles Lindbergh and needed a flight jacket. This should do.

My son is 11 and he's a bit in the smaller side and the XL fits him perfect. We originally bought the L and it was too small and ended up fitting my 9 year old. But the jacket is great quality. Nice strong zipper, great seam work. Wish it had a good but all in all it's a great jacket for cool days. Doesn't keep my boys warm in the winter here in NE unless they have a sweatshirt under it. Would recommend as a spring or early fall coat and DEFINITELY size up!

I have another Rothco MA-1 jacket and love it. I ordered this one in a different color, because why not? But, the listing has more than one layer of a description as a men's size piece of apparel, but at the last moment before committing to purchase, it says "kids", but I figured with all the other descriptions saying adult size, this must just be one of those "typo" situations. But it wasn't, they actually sent the kids size, which isn't a big deal, you can send things back. But what makes this a so-so vendor is that not only did they get it wrong, they charge you for the return to boot. Not my mistake but I have to pay for them to fix it.

Loved the look of the jacket so I ordered one for my son who is a small, but I ordered a medium so he could grow into it, wrong! It was so tight on him, so I contacted the seller to return and then was gonna order a large well....... Apparently they ship it for free, but if u wanna return it you have to pay for it! So now I have to pay to send something that apparently runs very small, and is inaccurately described!

This jacket is awesome! I got the size medium for my son who is 7, and 58 lbs. It fits him like a glove with wiggle room inside. Its water repellent, warm, reversible, soft and easy to wash. My son loves this coat! I also purchased myself one in the adult size. I usually purchase Rothco flights in the store but decided against going out with Covid running rampant. Rothco is all u need!

As one who has worn military grade flight jackets all through high school and several years after, the outer shell material is very strange. Very crunchy, is the best I can describe it, with almost a paper-like feel - possibly due to the waterproofing aspect I'm guessing? I'm hoping that with a machine wash, the feel will improve. The liner is thankfully much softer than the shell, the jacket is constructed well and looks very nice.Do not order your childs usual size, but size up! All of the other reviews regarding fit were spot on and I am glad I listened to them. I ordered a Medium for my 7 year old daughter who wears a size 6X. It is about half a size too big, and should still fit her through next fall (in 9 months) as well, which is what I was hoping for.All in all, if I were to see it in a store and buy it hands on, I would pass. But its not so bad that its worth the return/refund process. But personally, I recommend purchasing a different jacket.

The jacket runs small so I ordered a size up and it worked great. He is 5 and the small just fit with no room for him to grow at all. I ended up ordering the medium and it fit well with a little room to grow. He loves it! Well made and attractive. Great service from the vendor as well.

サイズは他の出品者のも見て判断しましたが我が子にはLサイズが合いました（身長140ｃｍ）若干大きい感じで丁度良いです。デザインは普通にMA-1だし、厚みも普通なので軽くて良いです。あまり凝ったのを買うと服が重かったりするので。子供サイズのMA-１はなかなか近所の店舗では見掛け無いのでこちらで買えて嬉しいです。買って良かったです♬

息子に購入しました。実物を彷彿させる作りで良いのですが・・子供に着せるとな〜んか作業員ぽいって感じで本格派で硬派な感じになるのをイメージしていたんですが非常におっさん臭くなってしまいました。
