Doesn't have the male and female snaps to make a snap shut. Only the male side of the snap, so can't snap the sleeve!

The material is not as heavey as the old-school rubber one's. The head hole is a snug fit I am a motorcycle medium helmet.

The reversible aspect is truly reversible and doesn't just look like it's inside out. This is used by a wheelchair bound adult and the weight and quality really counts when the wind is blowing and you're sitting in a chair without the ability to adjust the coat. Where the snaps go is very sturdy and they don't rip like other ponchos I have purchased. The only drawback I can see is the hood and head opening, there's no adjustment for the sizing for the fit of the hood. Larger heads may have an issue,lol.

Head opening is too small for an average adult male, afraid to tug at the seams that didn’t look sturdy. Wife with a small head could barely get her head in. One plus - item arrived early but we’ll be returning.

Very strong "magic marker" smell that filled the room upon opening. I am leaving it in the basement to air out. Hopefully it will be come tolerable enough to use after a few days or weeks.
