For some reason I've just collected shemaghs as I've gone through life. I don't think I'll be getting any more now that I have this one. It's a much better quality than any others I have purchased, and I was able to wear it for multiple hours without getting itchy or anything. I'm a big fan. If I ever lose it or it gets damaged I'll definitely be buying another one.Another nice thing about it is how black it is. Most of my wardrobe is black and it looks great.

Se ven bien tanto en la tela como el color, este último es muy vivo. Pero no me gustó que había costuras un poco mal hechas, pero en general son bastantes abrigadoras, incluso adquirí otros dos colores aparte del negro (rojo y verde). Son de algodón y para salir a correr durante las mañanas es bastante abrigador.

The best Shemagh I've ever purchased - much thicker than others available on amazon, and I've purchased quite a few. The material is sturdy and thick enough to last, it doesn't smell like chemicals and the colour is fast and does not wash out. Exactly what I wanted from a Shemagh! Perfect for everyday wear in summer or winter, and a fantastic addition to a survival kit! Going to buy a few from Rothco over the next few months!!! I could not recommend this product enough! Absolutely fantastic!Edit: I've purchased another one of these in a different colour and found the quality to be just as good as the first! I'd buy many more! Exceptional product!Edit #2: I couldn't resist and have now purchased a total of 6 of these Rothco Shemaghs in various styles and colours and could not be more pleased! Each one is as good as the last and they're serving me exceptionally well! Very much recommended!!! Make sure to check out the two tone styles as well, they're the same quality and fit.

Best shemaghs I've found at a reasonable price. Rothco's are a little thicker than the really cheap ones and mine have held up in the winter and are keeping me cool in the summer. They are thin, but that is by design. I would recommend hand washing when you first receive them to get rid of excess dye (which is quite minimal, especially when compared to other one's I've bought).

I purchased the black Shemagh and love it. It is the right weight, not too light like others I have seen and bought. I use it during the winter under the hood of my hoody to keep my ears warm when I jog early in the morning. It is so much better than a balaclava because I can adjust it when I tie it on my head for the weather outside. I also hike with it as a scarf to have if I need it. Great quality.

I bought this mainly to cover my face during the cold. It doesn't get too cold, here in California, as it would Alaska, but that's not the point.I get sick frequently because of allergies and asthma. Usually, when I get sick, I get sinus infections or respiratory infections.My grandmother would tell me(in spanish) to "cover my face when I go out."I was excited because I never heard of such a thing, a "keffiyeh," or a, "shemagh."When I got it, I also was glad that nothing was wrong with it. I read other peoples' reviews and some complained of problems, for example, someone's scarf smelled of kerosene.How odd. It didn't look poorly made, but one flaw I found was that, when I was trying to wrap the scarf around my head, and as I was adjusting it, I accidentally pulled some fibers loose. The scarf wasn't ruined, but after constant use it will probably happen. I also decided to purchased a solid color because I didn't like the patterns; they seemed to flashy. I'll settle with solid black.Keeps me warm, so I'm satisfied.

The shemagh doesn't have sewn edges, but it hasn't shown any tendency to fray. Works well as a multi-purpose piece of cloth, and I never leave home without it. Acts well as a pillow, or even as a small blanket in a pinch. Keeps your head warm or cool, depending on how you use it, and definitely keeps out dust and sand. Great product.

After looking through almost all the shemagh sellers on amazon, I was worried about smelly, thin cheap fabrics that bled dye everywhere. It seemed that these complaints are very common among MOST sellers of these. I had NONE of these issues with this shemagh. The solid color looks fashionable around my neck as a scarf and I don't worry about attention or odd looks. It works great as a cover for sun, sand, wind and is a very very functional piece of clothing. I will be buying the grey color shortly. The fabric was a bit thicker than another brand of shemagh I bought on amazon. The price is great for such a useful piece of clothing. The large size means its big enough to tie across the head and face as a hat and face guard, and I have a large head. Could be used as a pillow and a variety of other uses in a pinch. Everyone seems to like bandannas for camping or survival kits etc, but i highly recommend this instead. Its 100% cotton.
