What are Rough Gems?
Rough gems are uncut, unpolished gemstones that are mined from the earth. These gemstones have no set shape or grade they rough and they always come in different shapes and sizes. Some of these gemstones are color treated to enhance them however that does not affect the actual quality of the gemstone. If you want to hold a real gemstone taken directly from the heart of mother earth which have been sleeping there for hundreds of thousands of years you should definitely give rough gems a chance!

This is a scam. There's are described as real raw rubies. They are crystals DYED purple. They do not glow under a black light as a real ruby will. DO NOT buy from this seller.

Ruby is dyed and look fake

This is the first time I have ever got a ruby, I'm pretty sure it's fake because the color is rubbing off on the paper towel as you can see in the picture. The color is off it's a bright purple color it doesn't look like it in the picture but it's a fake color. Pretty disappointed

I have ordered from this company before and their raw ruby's are just gorgeous. Perfect just the way they are for cabling. Or you can polish, tumble, and create something that is even more spectacular! Love everything I get from this company!

More than expected was advertised as 100Ct and I received over 164Ct, they do appear to be natural ruby's. Largest stone was a bit over 2Ct and they all fluoresce brightly under UV (only the center ones fluoresce in the photo, but that is a limit of my light source and camera not the stones). Only downside is they are fairly cloudy, but that is typical for natural stones. I will be sending a few off for heat treating and faceting most of them, will update review in a few months with results.

After tumbling for a month, I realized they are harder than anything I have. But they did smooth down somewhat. And they are a fun piece in the collection.

Got less stones than I was hoping for but they are very good quality. They look mostly black but when you hold over a flashlight you can see the beautiful red color. The energy from these stones are amazing! Would definitely recommend 😀
