You can t go wrong if you need one that will accommodate a 4.2 inch router. Very heavy and strong. easy to raise and lower.

I've had enough of the expensive brand name router lifts and no support from them. I went on the hunt for a new one and saw this one about half the price I payed for my last one that lasted maybe a year before some serious issues started happening with it, and talking to their support was like trying to talk to a drunk that had been passed out for month.I watched a couple of video reviews, read the comments from others that has this lift, then ordered it.When I got it I was amazed at the solidness of it and the simplicity of it. Why make something difficult that shouldn't be difficult. It has the best install instructions of any of the other lifts I've had that took an hour to figure out and get the router motor installed in it. It took me about 2 minutes to get the motor installed in the lift and it dropped right into my table and was ready to use.It's as smooth as any brand name lift I've ever owned. I used it several hours yesterday and today and it worked flawless.After each use, clean it and drop some more oil on it. If it crashes on me I'll do an update, but honestly, I see nothing there to go wrong like the over rated expensive brand name lifts.

Bought this for a new router table build with an old router. Used a PORTER-CABLE 7518 Speedmatic 15 Amp 3-1/4 HP Fixed Base 5-Speed Router that I purchased over 20 years ago. Results were better than expected. This is a precision product for a bargain price.

I got the 4.2" lift, I knew I had to add a sleeve to fit my Milwaukee 5925-20 as the 5625 motor is 4.14". It's a perfect lift for half of the cost of the Jessem.
