I have this in my outside bar, and even when it was 90 degrees it worked without a problem. It made ice so fast that even with four people at the bar and all having drinks, when we were done I was able to fill 2 zip lock gallon bags with the ice left over and put it in the freezer, which we used the next day at the beach. The only drawback with it being outside, is even when it is turned off and it is hot out, some the water will evaporate, it won't hurt the ice maker, as long as you make sure there is enough water in it before you turn it on. Great deal.

The machine doesn’t take up much space and its awesome to have a two way water inlet. but it doesn’t have a freeze function, so your ice is consistently melting and leaking water out the drain. It is noisy. Why i am going to return it, when the ice falls it sits on the flap that turns the making process of. So if you dont baby sit it you wont have ice. Every 18 minutes you have to move the ice. And It does not hold 11 lbs of ice either.You should try a different ice maker. This one is mediocre. Its leas than just ok.

Update:The seller agreed to refund the purchase and had me destroy the product so it could not be used instead of return shipping, which I agreed and took care of. They gave a full refund. The seller is reputable and stands behind their products.
