Ordered these to help make a nice rangoli design during Diwali. We think it turned out nicely!All four stencils have a nice design - as shown. The stencils are easy to use && they are thick enough that powder/sand doesn’t bleed underneath. Easy to clean as well since they’re just plastic.Unfortunately it was extremely windy where we live this year, so I ended up doing only the corners near our house entrance && couldn’t attempt a full circle.These are worth it to me. I know i’ll use this for future Diwalis and celebrations in the future. I would recommend purchasing!

Material is not sturdy. Very flimsy.The stencil does not come as shown in the picture. Actually the material had cut out marking in the stencil. You have to sit and take out the still attached marked flimsy plastic areas to show the design . And to do the design you will have to tape it down on the ground to show the design.

The mandala patterns are fantastic for art lovers who love doing projects in the spare time. I have created 2 so far and they look amazing given the paper is a perfect size. The idea of putting solid on top of patterned gives the look of creativity you'd imagine. Vice versa of putting pattern on solid works to not overpower the final look.

Good size . And comes out perfect . One quarter portion of the square design , so when you make Rangoli and flip the stencil and make the full design . Love it

These are great. Amazing. The price was surprising because normally stencils of this size (11"X11") cost close to twenty dollars. With this I got four big stencils that are extremely versatile. It's easy to Use just a part of the stencil too, so I do not have to use the whole design. The stencils needed to be weeded when I first got them. It took a while because some pieces were difficult to remove, but in the end I was happy because those pieces can be used as masks. These stencils are slightly thicker than the ones I typically buy from The Crafter's Workshop and Stencil Girl. They are designed to be flipped horizontally and vertically to make a complete design. Each stencil forms 1/4 of the bigger mandala design. Overall I've been extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Loved this product. Have used it many times and each time the rangoli turns our perfect. Many variations and combinations possible. Sturdy material and very clean edges in the designs.

There were no clear instructions about what to use, what powder, what paint? How to use - sprinkle powder, make a mix of water and rice powder, craft paint? I tried various things. They left smudges because the plastic stencil curls in places. They ask you to turn over the stencil to make the mirror image - but if the stencil has wet paint wont, it smudge the other side. If you wash and wipe - it is not easy to wipe completely dry. If even slightly wet the paint smudges. After my practice run, I am disappointed that I won't be able to use it. I will go back to my stencil trays, tried an true.

I would prefer to have bought the full Diwali stencils available in the Indian bazaars, but nobody seems to be selling them over here or online. These stencils are a pretty good substitute even though they take four times as long and need "fiddles" where the outer edges meet. They are sturdy, though, and compact for storage; they also include interesting cultural (regional) explanations of the traditional patterns.

Nice and big. Durable, I think. Also, you get the plastic cut outs from the patterns! I like that! An American company produces crafting tools.I would recommend them. It isn't important most likely, but each of the 4 stencils was yellow, not multicolored as depicted. The instructions are well written, so they're easy to understand. I like the extra history they give for each stencil too. Interesting stuff given in one paragraph per stencil type. The instructions and history are not too tiny to see, and all come on one page.
