Perfect for fixing a leaky delta faucet

This item failed after less than 60 days in service. The bottom metal sealing surface is visually not flat. It wound up ruining the rubber seal it contacts. I ran it on a sandpaper on a known flat block (surface ground), and it shows that it is only hitting in a few areas. I wound up using my old retired part, with the o rings from the new one, with a new rubber seal from the hardware store and it works fine. I may try to sand this bottom flat and try them in the future.

The problem with Delta faucets is that they will eventually leak. Replacing the rubber seats works but eventually that doesn't do the job. These new valve stems were a perfect match for my faucet and stopped the leak. I installed them about 3 months ago and they're doing great. Would buy again.

every thing seem to fit properly but didn't come with the bottom seat and spring ... also keep in mind depending how old your faucet there will be wear and tear so this may not be a problem solver as in my case I purchased a new washroom sink faucet altogether as it was still dripping and yes I replaced hot and cold stems :0)0:

Being a novice to changing out these cartridges, I watch a YouTube video before I attempted it myself. The video made it easy but I was disappointed that the replacement cartridge didn't include the small spring and gasket that goes underneath the cartridge. Fortunately, mine were still O.K. but what would it cost for the seller/manufacture to include them, maybe ten cents? Instead, if you want to do the job correctly, you'll need to get a kit that includes these pieces. My faucets work well now but I wouldn't buy this particular cartridge again just because they skimped where they shouldn't have.

The action is looser than the original stems and I was a little concerned about leaking, but they are holding up well after a few months.

The local Ace and Home Depot are out of stock so I bought these on Amazon. They are a perfect replacement. I had a faucet that liked to leak at the base. I removed the old cartridge, used fine sandpaper to clean the hole, then put this in. Perfect fit and no more leak. The hole was all gunked up on the sides from the old O ring and that was probably the biggest problem, but these are a perfect replacement.

All I can say is... fabulous!!! I waited a couple of months to submit my review, in case of any issues. No problems at all, my faucets are functioning like new again! Perfect fit and performance. Extremely easy installation. Saved me hundreds of dollars, LITERALLY. To purchase these OEM replacement kits and complete the work myself. I had four separate Delta lever handle bathroom faucets, leaking all at the same time. I had already received a quote from my regular plumber, which was astronomical (naturally). After months of "refusing to pay that much" I decided to take a chance on a tutorial that I came across on YouTube, and found out how easy it was for me to replace these babies myself. I'm a semi-handy 40 year old woman, who doesn't mind getting her hands dirty and busting her knuckles a few times lol. Let's just say that I saved nearly six hundred bucks by dodging the plumber labor costs (again, four separate faucets) by pursuing this DIY project!! Thank you very much for your quality products!

Compared to the other brands out there, these are a great deal. Used them in my delta faucet that I had previously replaced the washers on and the actual metal shaft finally was worn out and still leaking. Took about 5 minutes to install. Only thing this does not have is the spring/gasket assembly for where the supply line's water comes in, so buy that separately or you will need to re-use the one that is currently installed. (You shouldn't need to replace that gasket unless your faucet is dripping from the actual faucet head when it should be turned off)
