Bought this to tie up a holiday prime rib. Since it’s in direct contact with food, I wanted it US sourced.I’ve purchased too many offshore items that smell weird and didn’t want to risk it on a crazy expensive cut of meatWorked great, would buy again!

We are very particular, if not discriminating, on what we eat and/or allow those things to come in contact with our food.If there’s any merit to the rumors coming out of DC, our beef intake is about to be restricted... so, I figured I would elevate my steak game and wrap some thick sliced bacon around my filet. Wow!!This twine is easy to use. I am very happy with the product and the end result. This was some good eating!

Finely found a twine that really works in the kitchen. This twine is perfect for trussing roasts & turkeys without cutting into the meat.

This is a pretty darn good ball of string! Seriously, it is quality cotton kitchen twine that feeds smoothly from the middle of the ball. Worth the price.

I paid 5.76. Absolutely does exactly what it says/claims. Don't know what one reviewer is going on about re: made in china - mine clearly indicates that it's made in America. I have used it to tie up a chicken, some cornish game hens (I know, just immature chickens in reality) and a pork roast! Worked perfectly in all cases. There's not much more I can say about string! :) It didn't break when pulled tight and didn't burn or scorch in the oven. I am no cook (professional, or otherwise), just an average joe that needed some butchers string for roasting and smoking and this fit the bill perfectly. I put them in an empty peanut butter container with a hole cut in the lid for a perfect 'frugal mans' dispenser.

What, a review for butchers twine??? Yes, because sometimes good quality in everyday commodity items makes a meal come out better. My family and I like rotisserie chicken and roulades of any kind so I use a lot of twine. This particular brand does not scorch under the intense heat of the infrared element of our grill. With roulades it is very easy to tie without a third hand because the threads have enought "fuzz" to them that an overhand knot stays tight long enough to put the locking knot on it. Finally, the twine is actually wond correctly-- it never tangles when it is pulled out for use.

This is a good, high quality, cotton string. Not frayed or 'fuzzy' as some types are, especially the cheap dollar store stuff.Ties well, easy to knot, and stays tied under tension or heat.I have used it to tie roasts, Rouladen, truss up chickens & turkeys for cooking, even used it for household stuff outside of the kitchen.Great string for a good price.I have an Amazon Prime membership, so I do not pay for shipping. For the price, if you have to pay for shipping, you could probably beat the price by going to a cooking/kitchen store. Assuming that you are willing to drive to the store to save yourself the shipping costs.
