Easy to assemble and sturdy. If you are storing heavier weights such as 25+ and heavier progressively they don’t stack well together so I don’t recommend this model. But if you are going from like 5-10lbs and up every 5lbs it should be fine

This weight rack can handle my 20lb, 15lb, 12lb, and 10lb CAP hex dumbbell sets. These were my priority weights that I needed off the floor. I was fully aware that the width between the hooks had a bit more space for my son's and husband's, and I didn't plan to put neoprene dumbbells there. However, some of the longer ones kinda fit up top. This would easily hold 25, 20, 15, and 10lb hex sets. The images on the instruction book is straight forward, and the two little tools worked fine. I lack a bit of hand strength for the final tightening of the bolts, so my teen son helped. My only CON is that it has some mild rust around a few of the joints. If I get a few years out of it I will be happy.

It's solid steel, and about 15 lbs, which provides decent sturdiness. However, the rubber or plastic strips that run along the bars were too long though easily cut to fit with scissors. One of the mounting holes was malformed with metal inside and the bolt would not fit through. Luckily I had a narrow cylindrical metal file to take care of that.After the fitment issues were taken care of, assembly was simple.I appreciate that there are plastic inserts for the sets of 4 dumbbell holders on each end, but the 4 inch width is too wide for some weights. Also, the distance between each set of holders is equal and too small for dumbbells with larger diameter weights. It would have been better if the manufacturer staggered the distances, for e.g. small distance at the top for lighter weights and large distance at the bottom for heavier weights. To make weights fit you may have to get creative and stack large/small/large/small or just put the heavy weights on the bars.I could make this work for me but it is not an ideal setup.

Substantial construction details were evident upon opening the box. Card with 8 bolts, nuts, and washers was included, along with instructions. Steel sides and spreaders are substantial. My 10, 15, and 20-pound weights fit the side slots perfectly. My 3 and 5-pound plastic coated weights are a skosh too narrow to fit over the support tracks, but the 8-pounder fits. My solution was to put my Amazon Basics plastic frame for the 3, 5, and 8-pound weights on the mat just in front of the new rack. Simple and works fine for both me and my wife. Overall this is a pretty good quality product, but got to say that I'm really disappointed with the fact that you have to remove the top 3 tiers of dumbbells if you want to use the ones on the bottom of the rack. Each hex dumbbell is basically sat on the one below (rather than being fully supported by the rack).

Very easy to assemble and solid when put together.I use round weight plates and can only get two dumbbells on each side, I guess if you use hexagonal weights you would get four on each side. It’s the gap between the recess but if using light weights with small plates will get four easily.Regardless of that there is plenty of space on the shelves for the weights.It has cleared a large area in gym so I am happy with the rack.
