I use this in an automotive garage as a vacuum pump adapter. The rubber seems to hold up fantastic to all sorts of car chemicals. Oil, brake fluid, brake cleaner, coolant, etc.

It is a rubber stopper with a hole in it, good for making a large hole into a smaller hole. No clue why Amazon demands so many words in a review.
