These squares are very practical. I used several to cover over my patio steps, and then several to make a pathway in a muddy are in my yard.

I looked at these Rubberific brand stepping stones in the gray color at a local "big box" retailer. Ended up deciding not to purchase them because they have a very definite blue undertone. Wish they came in simple black.

I needed to replace two broken paving stones. The proper base layer isn't in place to use stone pavers, which is why the old originals cracked, so this was a great option. They lay flat and aren't slippery when wet.
