I bought 3 of these a few years ago, and use them every year to when I am processing my dear meat at home. They fit nicely into my fridge, so I can take a break in the middle of my processing.I ended up buying a few more this year because I typically shoot 2 or 3 deer at a time, and I need the capacity when I am using my meat grinder.Be sure to buy some lids as well, as it makes it super easy to stack containers on top of each other.I process about 50-65 lbs of venison/pork sausage at a time, so I usually need 4-6 containers to do this. One to hold the cuts of venison, one to hold the cuts of pork butt and two to catch the meat after the first grind. Then I use the containers to portion out the rough ground mix, so I can mix the different spices before the final grind & bagging. We usually end up with 3-4 different recipes: Maple Breakfast blend, Italian spice, Grandpa's Recipe, Military Man's Meat Eater Recipe, and then a few pounds of non-spiced ground meat.These containers are a MUST if you process your own deer meat, especially if you use a large meat grinder at home. Best purchase ever!
