I’ve used buckets and wringers since 1970. Everything was metal and heavy. By 1980 I had moved on to composites. Relatively light weight and durable. The early Rubbermaid wringers had gear mechanisms that were too thin. After several years the gears would slide past one another. I would beef mine up by cannibalizing one so as to double the width of the gear mechanism. Worked great. Many years later I purchased Rubbermaid’s latest setup. Very pleased. The only improvement that needs to be made is the red grip that clicks on the end to help dump the water out. It works its way off when the wringer is in position. That needs to be addressed. I’m not a fan of the drain on the bottom due to the fact that, unless you clean it every time you use it, you will end up with a leaking bucket. Rubbermaid is aware of this and instructs you to clean it every time. Otherwise, sand and grit will compromise the rubber seal. But other users may find this feature very useful. So, that’s my two cents.

Best mop bucket available. I love that the mop bucket has a foot pedal to empty the water and you don't have to lift the bucket to dump it. I own a dog boarding kennel and use this bucket day in and out.

This bucket/squeeze system is about 3X as expensive as conventional systems BUT it is well worth it because (1) it is well made and (2) it has a "step-on" release drain. There is no need to lift or tilt the bucket and therefore no strained backs or similar injuries. In my opinion it is a God-send!

This unit is like all of the WaveBreak models and it has a foot operated bucket drain. Just roll it over a floor drain and step on the pedal. These commercial mop systems are just so much more durable overall why waste your money on junk?

Great to have a sturdy, commercial grade wringer and bucket to the floors with. No more messing with those half-hearted, flimsy mops they sell at the grocery store that you have to wring by hand. This model is larger than I expected. I probably should have gotten a slightly smaller one. It takes up a lot of storage room, but that was my mistake, not the bucket's. Besides, if a job arises where I need the large capacity, I'll be glad I had it!
