Your cart is empty.The new matte black rugged ridge boulder aluminum differential covers are constructed from a356-t6 cast aluminum for strong impact resistance and feature a precision machined sealing surface, allowing gaskets or RTV sealant to be used for a leak-free seal. Each cover is designed to help protect internal components from damage caused by contact with rocks and other terrain off-road as well as aid in dissipating heat from differentials. These covers also come complete with a magnetic drain plug for protection against costly damage from metal particles that can accumulate in gear oil and include a specially designed dipstick bolt to help jeep owners avoid under or overfilling their differentials.

First off it looks awesome, second it has a oil fill and a drain plug and finally it has a dipstick for checking the oil level. Now thats cool. Very sturdy seems to be well made. I looked at the rugged ridge diff cover for the rear AMC model 20 and it is terrible compared to the dana 30. I was hoping they made one for the rear that matched the front but NOPE.

Der Deckel ist durch dieEinfüll- und Ablassschraube sehr praktisch. Man braucht zum Ölwechsel nicht mehr den Deckel abschrauben. Er ließ sich gut montieren und sieht obendrein noch gut aus. Ein Wehmutstropfen hat er doch beim genaueren Hinsehen war im Gewinde ein Loch (Lunker). Die Festigkeit den Gewindes ist aber noch gegeben, und dicht ist es auch. Also doch noch alles gut., aber ein Sternchen Abzug.

Build quality seems good. Certainly thicker than the stock steel one and this has the benefit of a drain & a dipstick. Note, you will use more oil than the manual says since this cover is a bit deeper than stock. Mine took maybe 60 oz. I used the Lube Locker gasket & tightened to just over finger tight, then 25 ft-lbs & finally 30 ft-lbs. I used a cross-over pattern for this. No leaking.A lot of other covers seem to have complaints about hardware quality. These bolts are marked as grade 5 & torqued down just fine. Pics are the diff all cleaned up & ready and then with the cover in place.

Great upgrade so you don't have to remove the cover to change the fluid. The only thing difficult is reading the oil on the dipstick. It blends with the hash marks to easily. Would have been nice to have a contrasting color. Recommend using lubelocker gasket with cover.

Installed on 2016 jeep JK 75th edition with 4" lift. So far so good. Too early to tell on durability but if anything happens I'll update my review. I do some moderate offroading. I have a 4" suspension lift, no fitment issues. I bought matching covers for both diffs. Dana 30/44

Very happy with this Dana 30 diff cover for front axle on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has a wide bolt flange, wider than others I've looked at. This item came from a company in BC which is great,...[Rugged Ridge in USA does not deliver directly to Canada]. Item comes with longer bolts because flange is a little thicker than original diff cover. Item also has three plugs,... a drain plug, a vent plug, and a fill plug which makes filling and draining the front axle fluids a breeze,...which is why I bought this Rugged Ridge diff cover. Be sure to acquire spare drain/fill plugs before installing as these are all fine threaded bolts. Great product. I highly recommend.

I put these awesome diff covers on my 2001 Jeep TJ with Dana 30 & 35 axles and 3.5 inch lift. Install was easy with the right tools. I used lube locker gaskets instead of RTV and torqued to spec at 30 ft lbs. These covers are great quality and heavy duty. Much better than the oem covers I removed. The aluminum construction should help dissipate heat much better. Fit and finish was perfect. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade.

This cover fits the axle fine but as I found that the trac bar hits it when you hit a bump. The trac bar will hit no matter what, so now I have to buy a new cover and install it. Would not recommend for any Jeep TJ, stay away it will just cost you time and money.Update:I did speak with the manufacturer and they were not helpful at all the just said it will fit and that I must be be lying.
