This was a waste of money. A couple of hard pulls on this and the product wouldn't work. I resorted back to my old cover, and installed a new pull cord, which was far cheaper, and it's outlasted this many times over. This was Chinese junk!

dosnt last quite as long as the honda brand recoil starters. but holds up for a few months. good alternative.

Start coil is very easy to replace with 3 (10mm socket) bold. EZ as bolts of, swap and bolts on. I do wish it came with Honda sticker such as GX390. That would have been top notch touch. Very happy with my purchase. So much ez-er than re-string oil pull cord.

Perfect replacement on the Predator 420cc. The original came loose and destroyed itself while operating the go-kart it runs. Found this replacement on here and literally our 10 year old was able to swap them out! We have a battery start, but appreciate having the recoil starter as a backup. I'll update this review if anything changes.
