Eigentlich funktioniert alles super und wie es soll. Strahlt allerdings die Sonne ein paar Stunden drauf war es das dann. Auf dem Display ist nichts mehr zu erkennen, Kondenswasser sammelt sich unter der Display Scheibe. Geräte reagiert auch nicht mehr. Deshalb, keine Empfehlungen!

This thing takes a bit of figuring out to get the right reading depending on engine type. I like that you can shut it off manually (not automatic) when not in use to save the battery. I use it on my mini bike to keep track of hours used and RPM.

Failed due to leaking water. Not good for a product that is rated as waterproof. This was on an outboard engine subjected to occasional rain and splashes.Because it stopped working, I decided to see where it leaked. It leaks through the lens over the display. The battery hatch and buttons are water tight. Glue that lens down better and it might be better.

Parto col dire che vi consiglio l’acquisto di questo prodotto. Adesso proverò a fare la mia modesta recensione: nelle funzioni, le garanzie che la casa dà, ad esempio l’impermeabilità, oppure l’opzione per contare un preciso lavoro, non c’è nulla da dire, per 20 € è fin troppo onesto, l’unico consiglio che mi sento di dare alla casa è quello di produrre questi contagiri mantenendo gli stessi modelli, che funzionano perfettamente rispettando tutte le specifiche tecniche che la casa fornisce, però, vendendoli facendo scegliere al cliente misure differenti della lunghezza del cavo, così da riuscire a soddisfare chiunque e qualunque bisogno del cliente. Comunque solo che applausi alla casa costruttrice perché è veramente un buon prodotto, tra l’altro molto figo anche nel design. Io l’ho montato su un booster spirit facendolo passare affianco al cavo gas e dell’aria e ci ho messo 2 orette siccome non avevo a disposizione gli attrezzi che uso solitamente per i miei lavoretti, ho smontato tutte le carene e fatto passare proprio negli stessi punti dei cavi appena citati, però sono riuscito a fargli fare solo due giri attorno al cavo candela perché la lunghezza del cavo non me ne permetteva di più, di conseguenza la mia paura è che il contagiri non sia così preciso e che non misuri correttamente i diversi parametri (poi lo ammetto, io sono molto pignolo). Però ci ho riflettuto a lungo e ho deciso di lasciare tutto così, allungare il cavo con un altro cavo farebbe perdere precisione nelle misurazioni, secondo quanto sostengono altri acquirenti, e un altro luogo più vicino dove incollare il prodotto mi avrebbe fatto risultare scomoda la lettura durante i miei giretti. Del resto non preoccupatevi per visualizzare i parametri la sera o in generale al buio, vi è un’opzione che permette di lasciare accesa la luce verde, non abusatene perché chiaramente consuma di più la batteria, e se ve lo dimenticate acceso potrete dire addio alla batteria dopo tre giorni, secondo quanto riportato dalle istruzioni, chiare ed esaustive, considerando comunque che ho una buona conoscenza della lingua inglese. Spero di essere stato esaustivo.

Installed this on a 2006 Suzuki DR650SE motorcycle (single cylinder) and it does the job. The only quibble is that it did not accurately show RPM until I tightly coiled the sensor wire around the spark plug wire and cinched it up with a zip tie. The instructions show the wire much more loosely coiled but I was getting spurious readings with it wound like that.

L'ho dovuto posizionare in modo inclinato ...perché altrimenti risulta sbiadito....Non ostante la batteria sia carica... è semplice chiaro, ed intuitivo..... lo proverò....!se mi risulterà troppo scomodo lo renderò...credo che sia solo questo difettoso per questo lo consiglio per tutti gli altri punti positivi e per questo do' 4 stars

Got it to work finally. Excellent customer support from Runleader. If you’re using it on a multiple cylinder engine make sure that the HT lead you put it on is distant from other leads. The pickup wire is quite sensitive so I was getting multiple readings from adjacent cylinders. Just play around with placement at idle until it’s reading correctly. They lost a star for not the best instruction manual though I’ve seen worse.

Product is a piece of s*** do not buy spent 20 or 30 minutes in my time online finding one with a long enough cord to work for my situation only to receive one with a 3-ft cord waste of time and energy
