I recently received my order of a plastic dumpling mold. Thank you for the fast delivery. However, I must say that the quality is rather disappointing. The edges are rough and not properly finished, which might tear the dough during use.I’ve decided not to return it, as the price was low, and there’s no guarantee that a replacement would be any better. I’ll try to find a way to make it work, but I’d recommend improving the manufacturing process to provide a better product in the future

Works great. Did stick a bit but otherwise fine. More flour may help. Sturdy.

I loved it. I’ve tried using pasta makers in the past and was frustrated. This is very similar to rolling out dough for a pie. I’m trying different fillings. I tried cheese and spinach first. Can’t wait to try some meat fillings next.PS. I rolled the first layer out dusted the flour off. The used my finger to help form the depression to add the filling to. The used my finger to go around the upper edge of each depression with water or egg wash to help seal after filling. Filled each depression with desired filling (about 1/2 tsp). Place upper layer of rolled out dough on top. I found it to be helpful to gently press down with your hand or rolling pin. Then roll the rolling pin over the top until you can see the outline of each mold. Carefully remove the outer edge. Have a container ready to flip the mold over and gently poke the finished product out. I used a cheese Spinach ravioli recipe. Some of the cheese mixture was in the outer dough. I kneaded and re-used my dough. If this troubles you make 2-3 recipes of dough.

I used to have the same one in metal. The plastic one is worse in terms of pushing the dumplings out of the wholes. The dough seems to stick more to the plastic one, besides I really wish it had more weight to it as a metal one. Overall it does the job, but the metal one is really handier. The major benefit of the plastic one is that you can wash it in a dishwasher.

What I really liked about this product is that it avoided the chief complain of its metallic competitors, metal chips. It is an easy to use and good looking Pelmeni maker. Solid product that does the job.

I love ravioli...I hate making ravioli! This gadget totally changed my outlook to making ravioli. It's so easy to use and works great every time. Makes 37 small-ish raviolis per batch. I spray it with olive oil to prevent the raviolis from sticking. I make the pasta dough using a pasta machine and then lay strips across the maker. Add 1/2 tsp of filling then cover with the top sheet. Roll out with rolling pin...RAVIOLI! Then I use the leftover trimmings to make egg noodles!

It takes a little bit of getting used to, but it does what it is designed for. Make sure you rub flour on it before putting the first sheet of dough, so it would not stick to the form. Definitely better, faster, and more uniform results than doing it by hand. I would buy it again.

This pelmeni maker did not disappoint. I made two baking trays of the pelmeni dumplings and each one of them came out perfect. There was no problems in pushing the dumplings out of the holes, so long as the mold is floured on both sides and not overstuffed with the meat/ filling. This pelmeni maker definitely saved me time from making each one of the dumplings individually and made dumpling making much easier and fun to use.

Does what it's supposed to do. Simple and easy to use. Make sure to flour side of the dough that will get in contact with the pelmeni mold to prevent sticking, or you can flour the mold itself. Makes 37 pelmeni at once. To get a good cut of pelmni you need to go over the dough with a rolling pin few times in a few different directions. It's not one roll and done kind of thing but it works.

I rolled the top layer of dough and the pelmeni wouldn't pop through. My husband even pressed down on it but it didn't work. He also said the legs aren't long enough.
