I have used this paint before and it's ok but DO NOT BUY from Amazon. They shipped the wrong color and didn't pack the van properly for shipping. Can arrived badly dented. Not reuenable.Very poor service.

I painted my bottom of my boat with a single quart. I have a 12ft fiber glass v-hull Jon boat.It took about 3 coats then a few touch ups. It's is epoxy in it so it's very thick.

The paint was easy to apply. Would recommend painting in a well-ventilated space. It does have a strong smell, but it came out great, and really happy with the result.

I just finished two coats on a painted 21 ft Parker cc. Applies really well and spreads great. I added a little nineral spirits to thin and only used a quart and a half to cover. We will see how long it lasts. Cost 1/2 of what micron cs costs.

Some folks complained about mixing. So I bought an empty one gallon paint can. Put 2 quarts in it, used a paint stick to get the gooey stuff out of the quart can. Then using a drill mixer, mixed thoroughly. It went on easily and 2 quarts was plenty for a 27 foot sailboat with full keel. I applied liberally but no need there was plenty left over. For 2nd coat I will apply more generously. Time will tell on durability....

So far this is the best and cheapest bottom paint I have ever used, goes on thick, I have a 22ft CC and 2 quarts and one coat did the job, I do have a diver come to clean the bottom at least once a month and so far a year later I have minimal growth and very few barnacles, I live in south Florida and it’s very hot, so far this is now my go too paint, I just ordered 2 quarts and I’m gonna hit it this month

This is a great bottom paint if you have decided to launch your boat a lot from a trailer and if you leave it in the water for days at at time. It is hard and does not come off easily, so the trailer bunks won't rub it off (if you bunks are in good shape). I actually bought this paint months before I put it on. It was all lumped together in the bottom of the can and the local paint store refused to shake it for me. I ended up using a "beater" off my wife's electric beater and used a drill to slowly stir the paint. It worked great and stirred the paint perfectly! The paint is really thick, so I used a brush along and around all the lifting strakes and corners and did the large open areas with a small roller. It turned out beautiful!! I painted the bottom of an older 13' Boston Whaler and 1 quart was just enough for 2 coats on everything is you are careful... Great stuff!!
