Looks like a nice quality rod for a great price! Easy and fast to install and fits perfect! Make sure to order the correct size, these are made for different size tanks. I also ordered a tank sprayer to clean out the residue and sediment, there was a lot in my tank.

I needed one of these for my RV water heater and it fit perfectly. Be careful removing the old one! Make sure the water is not hot and be sure to release the pressure in the system before you remove the old one. I didn't relieve the pressure and got a good shower when the anode finally came out. A plumber friend said to use an impact drive to remove the plug rather than simply twisting with a ratchet, supposedly it's easier on the tanks than just twisting away with a big ratchet. New one installed in minutes with no problems.
