I got this to use on my RV scissor jacks, but wasn't paying attention when I ordered and it won't work on them. That aside, it is a very nice solid tool and has other uses; it's a perfect size to tighten and loosen wing nuts. Good machining, no sharp edges, and I expect this thing to last forever.

If you have ever used a car scissor jack, you know what a pain they are, especially when they are a little dirty or havent been greased up well. Plus the time it takes, ugh. This product solves all those problems but allowing you to use your drill to help you. Its also nice to be able to hold your drill with one hand and the jack where you need it with the other hand for pain-free alignment. I would highly recommend.

If you have ever used a Hook & Rod scissor jack, you’ve probably at some point asked yourself if there wasn’t an easier way to do this? And the answer of course is yes there is. A product from Scottchen PRO referred to as a Scissor Jack Slotted Drill Adaptor might be just what you're looking for. Simply attach it to your drill and let it do the work for you.So let’s break this product down and take a look at its pros and cons.Material and constructionStainless steel offers better resistance to corrosion than plain steel (you get what you pay for). The machining is very well done, and unlike cheaper adapters I doubt you're going to bend or break the ears on this tool.ShankA triangular shank was chosen as it affords a better lockup in the drill itself. This might be disappointing to users who prefer a ¼ hex socket adapter on their drills or impact wrench, but I personally don't have any issues with it.The drillNow this is where I say don’t blame the adapter because your drill doesn’t have enough torque to drive the worm gear. The heavier the load the more torque you're going to need. Bottom line is you're going to need a decent drill.Sharp edgesThe T-slot edges are a bit sharp, I’m not sure they're sharp enough to cut you, and they will most likely smooth over with use.PracticeThe thickness of the T-slots on scissor jacks seems to vary. On some the adapter will work fine and fit snugly. While on others there is a lot of play and it’s easier to slide off. Once again, not the product's fault.OddityThe manufacturer's product description online shows a scissor jack with a socket head versus a T-slot.OverallA good product that can be a real time saver, especially on those rainy days, when you're trying to set up. And in my case a back saver as I don’t bend as well as I used to. If used properly and cared for, I see no reason why it shouldn’t last a lifetime.

We recently bought a Littke Guy Max trailer and the stabilizers are hand crank. As much as I love bending over and crouching in uncomfortable ways while cranking with my hands, I decided to splash a little cash and get this drill attachment.Nor my lazy self just has to be insanely uncomfortable for a fraction of the time! Every RV owner (not just the lazy ones) should have this in their toolbox. I keep one on its own cordless drill during camping season so it is always ready to go.

This is simple enough - a circular adapter with a slot that goes over the knob of a scissor jack to allow you to use a drill instead of having to crank by hand. However, I think I prefer the ones that bolt on to convert it to a 1/2" socket. This is because when I try to use this:1. It's a 3/8th shank. Which means that I can't use my 1/4" impact drivers, I have to pull out my actual drill.2. Getting it lined up exactly is difficult. A fully flattened jack is quite low to the ground, and I'm having to try to hold the drill exactly parallel to it. It wants to slip off. That it's a pipe, and not a solid, makes this even harder.General note: With any adapaters like this, be aware that this is stressful for your drill - it's like driving a very large screw in, trying to drill a 1 1/2" hole in wood, that sort of thing. Make sure you have a quality drill in good condition, and only do it occasionally - you need to let the drill cool after.Something a bit larger that fits more like a socket to hold it centered might work much better.

I have electric stabilizers on my RV and wanted a tool to use in the event of a low battery or a failed switch. I took a chance on this tool fitting the shaft on my RV. It did not fit as well as it should, but it did fit well enough to work. I will use it as a backup. The tool is made out of stainless steel which will keep it looking good for many years to come. The machining and construction appear to be top notch. I'm pleased with the order and plan to get a backup for this attachment just in case I lose the first one.
