These are almost a near exact match to the old incandescent ceiling light on my pop up trailer. Swap out was easy and covered the old holes perfectly. The brightness is a huge difference and maintains the original look with out being too out of place. Very happy with these.

These lights work great but the lens cover removal is incredibly difficult. Luckily, there is an easy solution. The lights are just what I was looking for. A dual 12 volt LED white light with adjustable brightness. The one knob control is simple, push on or off and turn to brighten or dim. This gives off a lot of light at its brightest setting and is nice and soft at its lowest setting. The knob offers about 10 different brightness levels from dim to full bright. The clear lens has a textured diamond grid pattern which diffuses the light well but the center is not diffused at all which allows much more light transfer and makes it uncomfortable to look directly at the light when on. For this reason I would recommend ceiling mounting only, do not mount this on a wall where the lens is in plain view. The huge problem these lights have is that it is almost impossible to remove the clear lens. The lens should slide back toward the edge of the housing and then lift out. Unfortunately, it locks so tightly into place that it is almost impossible to slide it back. Trying to remove the lens after mounting will likely rip the entire light from its mounting screws before getting the lens to detach.Don't panic, just plan ahead. Once you struggle to get the lens off the first time just grab a utility or hobby knife and carefully trim back a little of the ridge on the housing that the lens snaps into. A small amount of trimming allows the lens to snap closed but take much less effort to open later.

a large RV light with adjustable brightness. turn the light on by pressing the dial, turn it off the same. rotate the dial clockwise for brighter light and counter for dim. the dial is digital so you can continue to rotate forever but once you reach max bright or dim continuing to turn it does nothing. turn the light off and back on and it returns to the previous set brightness. being large it is bright. i counted around 15 different levels. not sure why it comes with and has 8 mounting screws. two would have been more than adequate. also comes with two small wire nuts. in this case i will most likely use them.
