Perfect cheap option for small torch work. No issues and fit up was easy. We’ll see how they hold up over time.

I'm a so-so hobbyist at welding, and it's never been a core part of my work or home life, but I still undertake some fairly ambitious projects from time to time. My latest one is to rebuild a smoker for a friend, and he wants it to look sort of steampunk style. I had to look up what that is, and I was shocked to find out how elaborate it can be, especially since I had already agreed to it. These torches seem to be strong enough to weld even some of the larger parts, which surprised me considering that the instructions gave guidance that these are only for very thin metal. I have some metal pipes and gears that I'm welding on to the smoker, and some of my earlier attempts with my wire gun and with my larger oxy torches ended up just perforating the smoker body, which I then had to repair. So I tried the #1 in this set and it worked just fine. It was slow, but it created a pretty solid weld on the first try. Overall, I kind of dig these smaller torches, especially for jobs where the welds are oddly shaped or the pieces are of significantly different thickness, which pretty much describes every single part of my current build. This smoker is going to be a nightmare to get finished, but once it's done, it will look pretty cool. And the only way I'll get it done is with these smaller torches that allow me to slow things down to where I can control the weld a bit better. My wire gun might as well be a shotgun for all the holes it makes. I like these ones a lot better. Definitely good for slow, steady work.

This is a solid torch, I really like it. It's built well and perfect for most welding and brazing projects. It's also great for beginners, because of it's size, it's easier to handle. I wish it came with a case, but for the price, I can't complain. Well made and great value.

This is a nice small oxy acetylene torch set. Appears to be of solid brass construction. This is a good size for small brazing jobs or even welding thin steel applications. Just like Goldilocks it comes with three welding tips: small, medium and large, hopefully one of them is just right for your application.

Years ago I was studying art (sculpture) . My major professor promised me studio space and instruction if I could come up with an Oxy Acetelyne torch set. I had one valuable item, a Martin D18 guitar. I sold it, bought a Victor torch set. Never got the lessons, never got the studio. But I have the torch, after 50 years.Well, I have to say, this little torch would have fit my needs then so well, I'd still have that beloved and mourned guitar!! It comes complete with anti-flash valves, is light and easy to manipulate. The swedged tips are as good, as far as I can tell as my Victors, I have had it connected with pressure for two days, and the valves do not leak. They do, however operate smoothly. When I first fired this thing up, I expected the 'bang!' and blowout from too much oxy (rough valves), but it operated as well or better than my Victor! You get three brazing/light welding tips, (0, 1, 2) , the torch body and two anti-flash valves (installed). Great value! If you have, as I did, type B regulators and hoses, you will need two B-to-A adaptor fittings, and A size hose ( lighter and more flex than B, easier with the smaller torch), or you could use B to A adaptors at the end of the heavier hose, but why fight it for 49 bucks? Recommend for light brazing/welding.

Very good value, especially for a newbie welder who really needs to become familiar with a variety of welding devices. If not for that reason, it is really a nice set of tips for simple home use. I've never had a torch around so it will be nice to be able to use one without borrowing it. We'll made and simple to use.
