I bought the Silver and Aurora Red versions. I was looking for a day & night use since daylight here is getting shorter. I saw a graphic which showed both of these are for day & night. Upon receiving it, I noticed that the Silver is pretty dark (I definitely would not recommend this for night) but Aurora Red will work for day & night. The Aurora Red felt flimsy (thinner) but when installed, seems sturdy enough. The Silver is thicker than the Aurora Red. On both, they seal up when visor is closed. The vents are difficult to open and when you do, it does not lock into a position. I was able to use the Silver for a handful of times, but it is now too dark in the mornings to use it on the way to work. I guess I will have to save that until the daylight gets longer here. Switching to the Aurora Red for the next morning ride.

I wanted to get a tinted visor for my Arai rx7v helmet and this does the job. I even added a pinlock to it too make it perfect. It's not advice not too use at night but I have no issues

The visor doesn't lock into place / fully close due to to added black plastic lip to open it. The vents do not open at all, I tried everything including tools, seems to be one solid piece. The pinlock on the outside is the size of a nickel, looks exactly like the tear-off nub on the flat shield, but the tear-off don’t line up. Was really looking forward to not having to wear sunglasses, but this shield doesn’t work with VAS-V

Purchased this to go with my Arai helmet and loved the color. the only down side was with closing . Seems like the latching part doesnt fit it properly and wont latch all the way down without some force. Also felt a bit flimsy. Over all for the price of this I would recommend
