Finish on the tools is good, I haven't used the splitter yet, but the quick link pliers worked well on both KMC and SRAM chains for both opening and closing the quick links. Comes with extra KMC quick links, which is a bonus.

Although the cutter broke after using it a few times, the store resolved my problem quickly.

Pretty simple, it’s not Park Tool but it got the job done for me. I really do prefer Park but like many I can’t always justify the cost. For what I need this kit works fine.

I just replaced a nine-speed chain. So easy.It is possible to undo a missing link by hand, but not easy. I also ground down a needle nose for the job. I'm so happy I got the right tool. You have to squeeze hard, but it pops right open. The new chain was a little too long, so I used the chain breaker to take some lengths out. I have a small Park Tool chain breaker. This one is so much easier because of the size of it. You have to put a lot of pressure on the link before it will move. This lever also has an adjustable receiving end for the link you are pushing out, just tighten it snug against the chain and it provides a very solid surface to push against.I also used the strap to hold the chain together to determine how many links to take out. Nice touch! Before I removed the old chain, I used the measuring tool, and it fit in both ways. It didn't fit in the new chain. I think you can tell which way to use it by the size of the rotating part.As others have said, these are not shop grade tools. They work really well for the home mechanic that takes care of a few bikes.

Need a few tools for one-off fixes? These help that. Will they last a lifetime? Probably not, but it’s a cheap way to get the job done.

Installed a chain on the bike on the gear shift, but was wrong and needed to take apart. I bought this tool just to take apart the chain to correct my mistake. This tool worked as expected.

The thing that pushes the pin bent and it did not come with a replacement one like it says. The bolt that I believe locks the chain in place does not even reach out the other side of the hole. The master links are slightly to short and can't get them to lock. The pliers seem to do it's job

Good price for basic equipment. Used only once but quality seems good and it does the job.
