Took 5 minutes to cut the power wheels battery connector and splice this in. My boys are loving the speed boost and I love putting my retired batteries to good use.

Bought this because a friend of mine told me we could soup up my daughter's power wheels jeep. It was easy to install and worked with little issues. The power my kid gets out of each time she press the accelerator is honestly comical. This is a great item and pretty cheap as well

I used this to power a 3500 lb rated electric trailer jack for my camper. The jack is meant for 12 volts but so far it works beautifully with this adapter and my 18 volt 4AH battery Ryobi battery. The wire is a good heavy gauge and the battery fits and locks onto it pretty well. It comes with a nice wire junction that I'd say is very simple and handy.The Ryobi battery might be the only one you should be using for something like this since it's the only battery I'm aware of that has the low voltage protection built into the battery rather than the tool. Even so, you should always stop using the battery as soon as it hits the low level cut off the first time. You should also remove the battery when not in use and recharge the battery when it's low, before storing it away. If the voltage of these batteries get too low, the cells will become permanently damaged and the chargers will refuse to charge them. It's an odd property of Lithium Ion batteries and the reason why low voltage protection is so critical for them.The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the plastic is rather thin, making it seem like it is probably somewhat delicate. For the price it's great and I'm tickled at how well it is working, but I would have gladly paid a bit more to have greater confidence that it's not going to break. I'm not sure if anyone makes a better one in that regard but they should if they don't. But hopefully this will surprise me and be more durable than it seems.
