The spring is longer and harder than the oem ryobi spring. I bought this for my weedeater to replace the spring. It’s so stiff you have to slam the weedeater to get any string out, and hold the time it won’t come out. Ended up ordering an oem one and fixed all my problems. I would not recommend buying this for a Ryobi electric weedeater.

It was delivered as advertised, the only problem it was not an exact fit and will fall off when top is removed but dies the job

I was able to get this spring and it fit my Homelite string trimmer head just right. Now I am back to knocking down the weeds. It also came over night which was a plus.

I knew that this might not fit my Hart weed eater but it was a perfect fit. It snapped right in and I was using it within minutes. Hart 40 Volt 15 inch string trimmer.
