Looks like it was dropped and chewed up by a wolf. The blade was rusty & saw was dirty. Suppose to be LIKE NEW, looks like a dumpster recovery. Sparks came out of motor when I tested it. I had to unplug it immediately.

I recently had to replace an old skill saw that died and I went with a Ryobi 7 1/4” as I’ve owned many Ryobi tools over the years and they are still working great. This makes tool purchase number 5 of this brand. It was easy to unpack and assemble, came with a little wrench to get the saw blade locked in place. It’s lightweight yet sturdy. Easier to hold than my old skill saw. It cuts cleanly as you can see from the photo of the recently trimmed fence post. Great line of products for do-it yourselfers.

I opened the box because it had tons of tape on it, when opened I noticed a lone nut and the packaging was flattened, as if someone reboxed it. The slide bar is locked open and doesn't work. Sold to me under false pretences as being called NEW.

I bought this saw used to cut steel with the diablo steel demon cutting blade. It came with wood cutting blade that it cut some 2 x 6 inch post with. This saw is very powerful, easy and comfortable to use and is quite light weight. It also worked above expectation when I installed the steel cutting blade and at present I cannot find anything negative to say about it.
