Ich weiß im Grunde nicht, warum ich dachte, dass diese Art Leine etwas für meinen Hund und unseren Alltag bringt. Wir haben einen Zwergpudel, wenn die Leine am Geschirr befestigt ist, und er im Freilauf ist, dann schlägt der Behälter andauernd hin und her und trifft logisch auch den Hund, der entsprechend irritiert ist.Die Leine ist viel zu kurz und der Behälter ist total unhandlich

I love this concept and wanted to love these so much! I got the buy one get one deal and received two of them. At first, I was super excited as they seemed to work great. Unfortunately, it was short lived. The first one jammed quickly and I tried everything to get it to retract or pull out. I couldn't get it. It wound up tossed because it was useless. The leash is also REALLY short, so if you're tall and have a short dog, this is not for you. I could not use it to walk my havanese (I'm a 5'7" female). My kids could walk her with it though.The second one I used on my service dog who really DOESNT need a leash as he's glued to my side, but for required leashing areas I was excited to have something I could pull out to show him leashed and not deal with the side eyes and annoying comments. Well, the 3rd time I pulled it out, I accidentally dropped it next to him (easy to drop as there is no handle or anything), and within a split second, another dog BIT THE LEASH IN HALF. This was a puppy with puppy teeth but it was so quick and as instant as cutting it with a scissors. I was really disappointed that it was that thin for dog teeth to cut through without even trying. lolAnyway, great concept. Bad experience. I hope they continue to engineer these to be sturdier/maybe add a handle some way.

If you have a dog any bigger than a chihuahua then avoid. I got it because it said it can take 4000lbs of pressure, at training we tried this out on my Mali and it snapped as soon as he moved forward.

Love this little leash. We use it when our dog goes to the car for a car ride. He is a runner so he cannot be trusted off leash on the short walk from the front door of the house to the car. When we get to the car, we zip the leash in and it's no fuss no muss! This little gadget saves us so much time! I wish our local pet stores would carry it, I showed it to some of the employees at ours but I guess I wasn't there when the manager was in. Definitely recommend this super little producT1

I can't say enough good things about the Lazy Leash! As a dog owner with an off-leash trained furry friend, this retractable leash has been a game-changer. I bought this after moving into an apartment because I'm lazy and didn't like having to re-leash my dog every time I did anything (she comes with me everywhere) so this was honestly the perfect solution. It is small and light and just hangs on your dog's collar and it is ready to go whenever you need to leash up.I love it for the convenience and time saving it provides.I have a Siberian Husky that is 2 years old and this has been able to hold up to her.I will bluntly say this though, it isn't all that durable on the insides. My leash would choke on itself a lot before I ened up breaking something inside of it resulting in it reeling capabilities to be almost non-existent but I can look past that.I still would recommend strongly!!!

We bought this thinking it will be a grand idea. Our dog is normally very well disciplined to walk and sit next to us, but once we put this on his collar, he flipped out no matter how much we ease it on to him. We'll just stick with a normal lease for now.

I have two corgis who LOVE nature walks and trail hikes. I'm too much of a nervous dog mom to let them fully off leash, but having them drag a leash behind them is not ideal at all. I happened to stumble across a TikTok video, of all things, where a guy had one of these for his own dog. I have never run to Amazon so fast in my life!!! I immediately bought one to try it out (but it came with a bonus second one as a gift... how's that for customer service?!). We went on our first walk with them today and they were PERFECT! Lazy Leash is super durable, strong, but also light weight and convenient. Cannot recommend it enough and I'm going to pass it along to all my dog-parent friends!

For a small device I’m impressed with the overall quality. It’s light weight and I feel comfortable leaving it clipped to my dogs collar as it’s durable enough (the clip is heavy duty too)Wonderful for trail hiking (if you’re one that typically allows off leash) to have a handy leash upon recall.

I NEVER write reviews, but this is a quality product I know I'll be using for the indefinite future and I couldn't have dreamed up a better product for exactly what I needed. Maybe not ideal for every dog, but I'm in the process of off-leash training mine with an E-collar, so having this as an easy contingency plan is wonderful. I never have to worry about packing a bulky emergency leash again. I can also attest to the sturdiness and comfort of the handle. I take my dog on a lot of hikes and I hate how heavy and sweaty the clunky retractable leash handles are. They aren't kidding when they say it's the size of an Oreo, but it's the perfect size for complete control and comfort while hiking on a hot day. I barely even noticed I was holding it. The rubberized coating and little nubs help with grip as well. AND if you think 3 feet is too short, think again. It's the PERFECT length if you're training your dog to heel. It gives just enough freedom so that there's nice slack in the leash, but if they leave the heel position you are immediately alerted and can give a correction. 10/10 I am obsessed with this product and will never buy another leash again. Seriously from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU LazyLeash!* I also received a free extra leash with my order which was a really nice touch and I'm very happy to have a backup, although at this rate, I'm so impressed with the product, I'll probably gift it to the next dog-owner I meet who could use it and help spread the word.
